My favorite class has always been Dual blades. Love the concept and feeling of the class, even tho mobbing sucks, but 5thh job skills helps a lot. Just hit 250 a few weeks ago!

My favorite class so far is the Dawn Warrior. Effective for mobbing and bossing and i think they have the best aesthetic in the game. I love the color scheme and animations, but i havent played a lot of the new classes so I'm not able to judge them aside from Ark. The new classes usually dont appeal to me cause I dont like micromanagement

Dawn Warrior is my burning atm, lvl 187 ^__^ So far I really enjoyed it! Specially Styx Crossin, the range and damage on that one is insane xD Sort of wonky when starting the boss combo, and sometimes does moon twice and stuff which feels kinda annoying, but might be my internet acting up :)
@@DerpwaldDuck Yea, the one of the downsides of DW is that they rely on good connection and ping for damage output at bossing. At 5th job, you get some buffs that pushes Styx crossing and Equinox to a whole new level. It was really satisfying.

@@DerpwaldDuck Equinox feels weird because you continously switch between Sun and Moon stance so the effects switch with each attack too. Nevertheless very effective later on. Good luck and Happy mapling. :)
My top 5 classes 1. Demon Avenger. I really love the theme for this class. I really like Demon Slayer back when it was released but I hated the DF system where you need to mash attack key to refill. Then DA came out and dude, it's a Demon, wielding a sword, how cool is that. It's also my current main. 2. Adele. The aesthetic is so nice and it a very smooth class to play. Infinite is my most favorite skill in the entire game. Its swords, swords everywhere. I love swords so it's the perfect class for me. I also love how Adele has a cool personality 3. Hero. My 1st main when I started playing the game. The combo orbs is just so cool and it's so unique it stands out alot compared to other classes, even until today. Did you see the Worldreaver skill? It literally slice the screen into half and killing mobs has a special death animation, just so cool 4. Mihile. This class is just so fun to play at low ping. You literally cannot die if you can Royal Guard properly. Training is very fun. Every few secs you proc royal guard and blows up the map 5. Mercedes. Very fun to play. Very mobile and does alot of damage. Doing combo with this class feels very smooth and it's not too complicated once you get the hang of it.
as a Battle Mage main, i always had to bring the party hp bar to the middle of the screen when i play other jobs to constantly remind myself I'm not playing my battle mage right now and i need to watch my hp. 😂
My first 150+ class was Demon Slayer and it was so much fun. This was around the time that Demon Cry was the main 4th job mobbing skill. with that sweet bonus exp. They later changed that to have a CD and the spiky balls skill became the main mobbing skill which i was not the biggest fan of but it didn't stop me from maining DS. The class has amazing survivability(only need potions when bossing due to the raven flock skill which gives HP on a couple sec. CD), incredible bossing skills(with 100% crit rate and a lot of lines), great mobbing (with 100% crit and it hits a lot of mobs) and awesome mobility (i remember flying around with those demon wings just for fun when i got bored grinding) Unfortunately when EMS and GMS merged i lost my account. I made the account when i was in primary school and thus didn't remember the birth year i used when i was still a minor.
My favorite class of all time is absolutely Evan the Dragon Master. Because i always imagine, how cool i am if i had dragon that always follow me every where and the dragon can talk and friendly. Just imagine that
idk if you knew but I think I only saw you using ladders on the thunder breaker part but all Cygnus Knights can flash jump up with jump+up at the same time just wanted to let ya know, love the content btw I've learned so much about the game from ya
Ark is a lot of fun but i cant get the animation canceling down. Thats my problem with most of the new classes for me. They all look amazing but i suck at micromanaging cooldowns and executing combos all while staying alive
My first class i ever played when i started maple before big bang was night lord. Still my favorite class to this day. I was never a dexless assassin, but i always loved the idea of being able to throw stars like a ninja lol.
I always played bandit and assassin but nowadays assassin is weird.. I’m at 3rd job with it currently and it’s mobbing skill is like a up close melee skill it’s dumb lol it doesn’t feel like your throwing stars which u technically are but it comes off as melee looking.. Night walker throws a big star in 3rd job which I like. I didn’t check out any vids or info on assassin , I hope in 4th job you actually throw stars when mobbing..
@@jojomojo329 You definitely do at 4th job! and even more when you hit 5th!. I loved night walkers too, the jumping while throwing stars just didn't fit my playstyle personally. But i would understand why people like night walkers more for sure.
I train mostly with teraburn.. other time I just train any classes I am interested in.. since we are given some extra slots.. it is cool to grind to 200 ... To re-discover the joy of leveling with a decent amount of grind.. my fav classes are ADELE, PATHFINDER, WINDBREAKER, KANNA, ICE MAGE, XENON,... My latest to 200 gunslinger class very surprised I managed to get to 200... The last grind 180 to 200 can be abit of challenges..
I thought adele looked so cool but I really didnt like her. All you do is spam 1 skill, I get so bored of those kinds of classes. My favorites are cadena, ark, mercedes, and my main zero
@@BrenoBMP honestly I dont really know but my ping gets pretty high sometimes and the skills always feel responsive, plus zero doesn't need precise inputs for its combos so it's not really an issue.
Always really enjoyed Jett, no memes I used to play Illium as well for a similar reason to why I played Jett, aesthetics, Corsair and Angelic buster are more so cause they were first two characters (in reboot and non-reboot respectively) that gotten me into the game, true OGs on my book also hell yeah my homie TB is in the list, but I did think shade was gonna get in because of the I/L silhouette

I know Kain is kinda new but when I came to the game a few days ago I kinda liked his playstyle and started enjoying another archer except Mercedes. Kaiser is by far my favorite ever since he first came out i played him as a kid and I just can't have a Maple account without a Kaiser. Also I don't really care for bossing and mobbing stuff I just enjoy the game so yeah
Made a demon slayer for burning event and had to delete him because he wasn’t controller friendly, his main attack will not perform the second and third hits with a controller :/
My personal favorite class is Demon Slayer. I made mine when I first started playing Maplestory and it just so happened that the Demon Slayer was released when I began playing. I reached 206 with mine when I came back recently after years of not playing and it felt great to get the 5th job skills. Also surprised I had the patience to level my DS to level 169 when I first started playing since I was pretty young (was stuck at that level due to being lazy though). Other classes I've been enjoying after returning are Paladin, Adele, Cannonner, and I also decided to make a Bishop to diversify from all the warriors that I have been playing.
It been a while since I played ms but got back into it and looking for a main in reboot. I liked ds, xenon and blaze wizard. So next Tera burning I'm doing ds.
gotta say I love my illium main followed by my hoyoung, adele is really fun as well. Cadena I really love the floral classes im working on a mercades now and its challenging but fun
Okay I may be a bit late but my list is somewhat like this: 1. Evan 2. Buccaneer 3. Beast Tamer 4. Blaze Wizard Evan recently became my number 1 favorite after playing buccaneer for a long time. I adore his skills and I love having control over so many abilities and combo attacks with Mir that change the attack and mix and matching them is so much fun! Beast Tamer is also a favorite of mine but I hardly ever play her because I think it kinda of sucks how she can’t master all of the skill tree. I would have loved to play her if she could max all her skills as I love her versatility as she can vary from a decent bosser to a great mobber and also an amazing support! Lastly BW is actually there for a bigger reason as it was the first class I ever played, back when the Cygnus Knights just came out(I was 5 years old and played with my brothers). It has a warm place in my heart (very warm if you may 🔥) and also the class is actually very fun to play and I love how far the fireballs can reach! In conclusion I think I kind of choose my classes based ONLY on how fun I have while playing them and I love it! I never play a class because someone said it’s “OP” or “Broken”, and I never stepped back from trying a class because I heard that they are weak and need a buff. I think everyone should try it as well, just play which class you enjoy and I am sure you’ll manage to train it to be as strong as you need it to be!
My top five from 1 to 5 would be: -Dark knight (my main) -Demon Slayer -Evan -Kaiser or Kanna, hard to decide -aaand idk, maybe Dual blade? I have tested all of these to 'least 200, and I can recommend every single one of them!
For Demon Slayer , you actually can lock your gliding skills . Making your double jump just by pressing Space twice . Though our double jump isn't the best .
I am also a lazy mapler like you haha, my old main was also a battle mage, lv220, i built so much on it, and I ditched it because it can be quite tiring to keep tele-casting and it pains me to switch to ice lightning mage, the true lazy mapler class haha, it is simplistic and beautiful class. I dislike Adele and DS because the skill just get too flashy and over the top and it makes me dizzy. My top 5 - Ice lightning // Wind Archer // Thunder Breaker (thinking of training it to 200 next burning) // Battle mage // Paladin
I'm thinking about returning to maple story after several years, would it be hard to return now? Would I play GM's or reboot? Is GMS massively pay to win? What the player count like in 2020?
You convinced me to do the i/l mage :D the link skill I think will be pretty meh, but at least I'll have it for legion lvl. I always thought it looked like a fun class but never got around to making one. I just used my 2 mega burning on the last 2 cyg knights I didn't have; dawn warrior was so bad imo :( lol.

btw, you can disable the glide by right clicking the skill in the beginner window, and it'll replace pressing jump twice with the standard double jump

Mine was the Dawn warrior, especially 4th and 5th job were amazing with the sun/moon motive and the insane amount of lines compared to other warriors.

You can right-click (lock) the glide skill on your Demon to flash jump normally

you can toggle off/on for the flash jump or glide for demons slayer and avenger just go to the skill
and only a couple of months later they change Thunder Breakers....

I never play a class because someone said it’s “OP” or “Broken”, and I never stepped back from trying a class because I heard that they are weak and need a buff. I think everyone should try it as well, just play which class you enjoy and I am sure you’ll manage to train it to be as strong as you need it to be!

My all time favorite is phantom, my current main! Classes I had fun playing are Hoyoung, Xenon, beast Tamer, and pathfinder. I'm a thief kind of guy.

For Demon Slayer , you actually can lock your gliding skills . Making your double jump just by pressing Space twice . Though our double jump isn't the best .

You know you can toggle between DS/DA double jump and glide, instead of pressing the button twice in order to double jump in glide mode.

I am also a lazy mapler like you haha, my old main was also a battle mage, lv220, i built so much on it, and I ditched it because it can be quite tiring to keep tele-casting and it pains me to switch to ice lightning mage, the true lazy mapler class haha, it is simplistic and beautiful class. I dislike Adele and DS because the skill just get too flashy and over the top and it makes me dizzy.

U can turn off the glide function as demon slayer. Its in your beginner tab.

You convinced me to do the i/l mage :D the link skill I think will be pretty meh, but at least I'll have it for legion lvl. I always thought it looked like a fun class but never got around to making one. I just used my 2 mega burning on the last 2 cyg knights I didn't have; dawn warrior was so bad imo :( lol.

U can lock your flying so that u only double jump for demon slayer
