Outstanding! Hint, strong hands are a big plus!!! You can use a sheet of newspaper to build very strong hands. Put the paper on a flat surface. Place your open hand in the middle of the and grasp the paper into your hand. Pick it up and with Just One Hand, start making a ball out of the paper. You will feel it in your finger's & hand. Once done, spread out another sheet of paper and do it with the other hand. If you do this 3 times with each hand, 3 times a day for one month. You will soon have strong fingers & hands.

I have run into more than a few people who the self defense technique #3 did not work on - didn't even phase them. I wouldn't use it as a first go-to technique. It can be used as a control technique for very unruly people once the hands and feet are controlled.
To be honest, I've never seen a choke hold with arms extended out like that while standing up. Usually, the fight is already on the ground at that point when the choke is applied. I would like to see these demonstrations done while using protective gear. To see these moves in real time and determine whether they are efficient and practical.
This is all stuff in classical Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. From 2:19 to 2:32 he shows locks that you will see even in Aikido although Aikidokas won't be so rough typically. Train that hand strength it helps
I think a lot of this is easier said than done. I couldn’t see myself doing any of these maneuvers, or techniques. It takes a very special person with no fear, or hesitation to be able to effectively perform these fighting moves.
As an ex-crowd controller, i really have to wonder if this guy has EVER had to 'walk' out an angry man who is hopped up on drugs or very drunk! (Coz he's NOT gonna be able to do it with pressure points like that!)
Same here. I've learned people, no matter how intoxicated they are, respond only to elbow pressure, or depletion of the freedom to breathe. Thankfully with drunks both are easy targets to get control of. For drugs I go for the back and gain control of the neck only.
@@M-a-k-o Steven Segal does Aikido. You're not one of those ones who thinks Steven isn't legit, just because people make fun of him, right? Because he is VERY legit. Then, after all that, turn around, face the bar, and pour yourself a tall glass of scotch and tell the cops, "I was passed out on the floor right here. I didn't see nothing."
Some of these techniques are taught to the police in the UK- albeit in a slightly different format. Most of them originate from William E Fairbairn's system of gutter fighting.
We used to watch this on Sunday nights during "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom"... "Now watch as Jim steps into the tiger's den with a t-bone taped to his ass..."
In reality attacking enemies does not behave like lifeless dummies and most of the times they are former boxers, thugs twice your size or very strong individuals who figured out violence is on their advantage who will punch hard and fast
Then use the late great Bruce Lee center punches. You strike hard and fast up the center line of your opponent. When he learns over, then use your non dominant hand for upper cut. Then finish it with a upper cut with your dominant hand. Your opponent will hit the floor in pain.
A lot of that will not work on experienced grapplers, my instructors nerves were all dead around his face from years of grappling pushing on his nerves was useless.
Regardless of what Joe Rogan or Bas Rutten says this stuff does work on the nervous system. Where Joe and Bas and every knowledgeable fighter out there ARE CORRECT……it’s not going to work when someone is already in attack mode. in order for this to work you have to do what most people aren’t wired to do. You have to be the first to attack fast and violently before they know what is going on. So I’m sure there’s disagreement on that statement but it’s true. I saw a 17 year old in high school that had been taking karate for a couple of years get into it with the starting fullback of the varsity football team after school…..the dude was fast and in shape and he was so angry! I don’t know if the fullback stole his lunch girlfriend or both but he was so mad he had a real set of nunchucks. The real deal bone breakers. He swung hard and you could hear in that one swing hard thumping contact to the ribs because right as he swung the fullback charged him from 2 feet away left arm up reaching forward to protect his face…..took the hit, threw a straight right on the jaw of the karate kid, the kid hit the ground and lost his nunchucks in one motion. Now the football player could have got in another half dozen devastating punches or stomps or beat on the guy with his own sticks but he just said “I told you if you swing that shit at me I’m taking your head!” I wonder who actually caused the fight because that dude could have really messed him up. I’m just saying even with a weapon in your hand if the other person is alert nothing is certain. Don’t fight over stuff that doesn’t matter could be the last thing you do. Of course if it’s unavoidable you have got to be as explosive and violent as possible and just get away from the situation. That’s just my old opinion of someone that has only been in a few real ticked off fights. It ain’t the same as martial arts sparring when you get caught with a pulled punch, kick, or accidental head butt. You going to be sore for days scratched up, maybe a broken thumb or finger maybe a knuckle, probably a pulled muscle……and that’s if you what people call “win”the fight. There is the low down dirty sucker punch that I’ve seen a few cowards get away without a scratch but it doesn’t always land. But that’s just an everyday two dudes ones pissed off and the other gets dragged into it without choice. I’m guessing this demonstration on this upload is if someone is wanting to really do devil things to you. Four letters starts with a k. But I guess knowing anything at all to try to defend yourself is better than nothing at all 👍
