- Highlights of our recent camping weekend at Lake Pleasant, Arizona for our Spring getaway! This is one of our favorite getaways to escape the Valley for a day or two since it has two of our favorite qualities - its close to us (less than a hour away) and it has water!
This trip we had to make a last minute change of plans due to some crazy weather coming in halfway through (high wind advisories!) so we left the boat at home and brought the quad out instead.

Great video. I have a truck camper and tow a boat to any lake I can. I briefly worked at Lake Pleasant at the entry gate and learned so much more about this beautiful park and lake. I am on Lake Pleasant every weekend I am not on another AZ lake. Very accurate statement about being on lake with winds. Not good. Your video was about 99.9% accurate, regarding the campsites, the loops. I was impressed. That gentleman who saluted you is a long time volunteer named Frank. He knows more about this lake and park than anyone I met. You were right about lake level. Peaks on Memorial Day and then they let water out until late December. Drops about 30 feet. The scute loop is the best loop because most spaces are level or close to level and the walk to the water is less challenging. I have slept on my boat on this lake as a boat-in-camper. Thanks for the excellent video! Maybe we will meet someday.

I'm waiting for the state dept of tourism to become an official sponsor for your channel. You really put out some quality content for the state. At a minimum, the state should give you an annual state park pass and STL pass. :)
