    Yes, these are solar generators when coupled with solar panels. They generate electricity. Just like an inverter generator turns gasoline (or propane) into power, a solar generator turns sunlight into power. If your negative comments apply to the entire class of products then why drag Bluetti down into it?

    • @HolidayForTwo42
      @HolidayForTwo42 2 дня назад

      I wasn't being negative towards Bluetti at all (or any other company for that matter) I was just stating a fact that none of these units "generate" power on their own (some folks mistakenly believe that due to the word "generator" being included in the descriptions of the devices on various websites) by themselves, they are simply power storage devices with inverters built in to them - if folks buy one of these alone they will need to purchase the solar panels separately. I have had folks who did not understand that, they have purchased one of these and think it just magically generates power - so that's why I added that in the video. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

    Dumb question perhaps but lets say you have a flat on an inside dually of a 25' motorhome OR a breakdown, and you are a few miles down a FR, and off the road a bit. HOW does one get help if camped by themselves for something like that? Do most tow trucks go down Forest Roads? Is one looking at some enormous bill to be towed back to somewhere to get a tire or RV repair? How is everyone handling these 2 somewhat common issues while down and off these forest roads? Thank you very much!

      @@usaman7358 Great question - first, I carry a good basic set of tools, Jack, spare tire, impact wrench etc. just in case. Also have additional RV towing insurance. Never go too far off the beaten path - watch for sharp objects in road - go with others if possible - check my tires 🛞 constantly and replace them when they show wear. Etc, etc, of course prayer helps too!

    After doing 2 cargo trailer conversions, and installing several windows. I’ll offer the following, before purchasing the windows, removed the interior wood and check spacing of any supports, or wiring. It may provide a consideration in window selection. At the very least you will know if you are cutting through supports. While the interior wood is removed, add insulation if not already installed.

Electricity is getting more and more expensive and we're continually under the thumb of the utilities randomly shutting our power off for 'safety' issues. Don't forget how they keep voting themselves a rate increrase/salary increase. As of 7/16/2024 Amazon Prime Deal is $549 for the AC180. I also got an additional 5% off! The White Mts are in eastern AZ along the NM border. I commented this before. Maybe the plateau is connected across, but the actual White Mt part is in EASTERN AZ. The locals to this area especially in AZ DO NOT refer to Munds Park as part of the White Mts. This area is more geographic to San Francisco foothills as those Peaks are just to the north. Please DO NOT post misleading geographic information. Check a map. You can clearly see the designation of the White Mts in eastern AZ-Pinetop, Lakeside, Springerville, Morenci, Hannigan Meadow, etc. I am in Flagstaff and know this immediate area well. No one in Flag, Sedona, Munds Park, Kachina Village, Forest Hills, etc. refers to the area as the White Mts. Please correct titles in the future to this area!

      Thank you for this info and I really do appreciate it - your information is more informing to me - more detailed actually than any information I've ever been given in my lifetime living in Arizona! I tried to research this earlier when someone mentioned it and could not find detailed and specific information about where the White Mountain area in Arizona begins and where it ends. It was mentioned somewhat, but the info was very vague. I certainly don't put this information out there to be deliberately misleading to folks either, I grew up in the Tucson area and this is how I've heard this area described over the years - by my friends, relatives, parents my grandparents even always referred to everything in Arizona between the cities of Flagstaff and Alpine - basically as either the White Mountains or the Rim Country or Northern Arizona even (shame on us) - I remember taking classes (a few years ago now of course, lol) in High School on Arizona History, and of course we learned about all the famous people in Arizona such as Father Kino, and we learned how Arizona became a state along with the histories of all the Native tribes of Arizona - unfortunately, we where never taught about the specific Geographical regions in Arizona such as the White Mountains. I appreciate your information and will endeavor to "set the record straight" in all my future videos about the correct geographic areas of Arizona and how they are named - great information and thank you again!

    Wash board is caused by people driving to fast down the dirt road. It starts with a bump, the tire bounces, rebounds and creates a low spot just ahead of the first bump and so on and so forth... The roads should be bladed every year but by the time the middle of summer hits, they take a pounding from all the traffic.

    How hot is it up there in that area in mid July?

      @@janowens4406 right it’s probably 85/55 high and low. But you can check on weather bug or other weather apps for Forest Lakes, Arizona weather. Watch out this time of year for strong storms especially in the afternoon!

    Thanks for this awesome video. I’m hearing conflicting info that the Fort Valley area is no longer allowing dispersed camping. Have you heard anything about this? Definitely considering checking this area out when I come back up in a couple weeks.

      @@jeffdorman6667 no I haven’t heard anything about that, however they did close it down two years ago because of the fires and how dry it was out there etc. but that’s the only thing I’ve heard. If I hear anything else I will post information! Update - I just checked the Forest Service website and it shows FR#222 and Wing Mountain area as “Open” as of 7/6/24. Always a good idea to recheck that website before going out there especially this time of year!

      Hi! Curious, did you make it out there yet? If not, do you know if it is open? Planning on heading there in the next few weeks. Thanks! Allie
