This is a pretty cool place. Lots of room to boondock. I had a 34-foot motorhome burn up here a couple of years ago. Lots of Wild Burros. Very peaceful place. The 3 or so miles in are a pretty bumpy.
I've seen that 3000 watts is the absolute minimum to run A/C . Wranglerstar has an old video on his channel where he made an auxiliary gas tank for a honda 2000 watt generator. You could do the same thing with a small boat outboard motor gas tank. They are maybe 5 gallons?
@@ProjectRVLivingLost Solar panels are cheap, much cheaper than the gas and the noise from a generator. You can pick up most anywhere A 250 watt solar panel for $40, charge controller For under $100. so for around $500 you could have a very adequate solar system for your rig. how much does it cost you to run that generator?
You can buy an external extended run fuel tank and a fuel cap with a hose so that you can run the generator longer without refueling. Another thing you can do is purchase a soft start capacitor for the air conditioners so that they don’t overload the generator. If you find you need more power, you can buy an additional *inverter* generator and a combiner box so that you can have additional power if needed.
They really don’t boondock enough for the solar to be worth it. Their air conditioners are really inefficient and would be super tough to run off of solar.
Do you have a favorite free camping spot in Arizona?

yeah it's a cool spot but that road is a little rough 😬

We may have to look into those. Thank you 🙏
I love lake pleasant boondocking. I consider it home.
Such a cool area!
@ yeah! I also have a friendly burro 🫏 who comes to hangout here lol i call him Eore.
Add a Micro Air Soft Start to your air conditioner..your generator will easily power it
Yes and Yes. The Micro Air Soft Start is the only way to go. I have had them on all my RV AC's
Thank you for the tip!
Now you are only 1 hour from my house 👍👍👍👍🙏
We are just creepin all around you 😂
You can literally get large solar panels for $50 from Santan Solar near there.... There's no reason for people to still be using generators.
We unfortunately don't have the space for the batteries needed to install solar
Umm cloudy days.
Did you have to pay to get in Lake Pleasant?
Not for our camping spot but I think we paid $7 to enter the park
No solar panels? Unreal
Unreal? Are you going to buy them for us? 😂

Okay that’s great info. Thank you so much 🙏

You probably should look into solar power there is solar power batteries that could run that rv and have that generator for back up power

@@JohnSmith-fx4se nah there's systems that could run that air con and that whole camper do your research
We would probably have a real issue with finding space for the batteries 🤷♂️
@@ProjectRVLivingLost Anker, bluetti, jacker, there all good soler generator power look into it and use gas generator for backup electric
