The chocolate-warm bariton of Walter Berry, the crystal-clear Christa Ludwig and the angelic soprano of Gundula Janowitz...so very balanced against each other and so simply devine... THIS is true masterclass-arts at highest level. I could lose myself listening to these devine voices for ages and ever on...

Very beautiful, and it looks beautiful too. A proper production, not one of these stupid modern ones that pamper the inflated egos of designers and producers.

Perfection - and a perfect tempo.
Probably the most beautiful opera song ever. Mozart was a genius
Only version I have heard where soprano and alto aren't trying to audibly assault each other for bandwidth...bravo, well done.
Most beautiful version that I ever heard. Just perfect.
@clara_home Youˋre so very right! Not a single note sung of these true artists can be topped forever.
THIS is true perfection, indeed.
This is how it is supposed to be done... magnificent! Purely magnificent!
Real ensemble singing. No voice dominates . This is beatiful.
Recorded before the Me Generation existed.
Stimmt.so zart vorgetragen habe ich es noch nicht erlebt.

It’s so hard to find a lovely version of this song, but this one is sublime.
It’s not a song though, a trio
Love these singers and Mozart. The Opera plot is silly but I sat through it just to be dazzled by their voices and Mozart’s music. Bravo
Best version ever!!!
Everything about this is perfect.
...BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!!...
simply ... simply...marvellous
Soavissime voci, una vera meraviglia
Somptueux,et si élégant.
Bravo bravo arcibravo Mozart
I truly love this, it's so elegant and beautiful xx

Sublime...... 😍😍😍
Belisiamo!!!
Amazing.
Harmonia harmonissima! 👏🌹🌹🌹
It's wonderfully beautiful xx
RIP Ms. Ludwig
How could Gundula Janowitz had such an aethereal, mozartian legato? How could she float above the notes? It is like a lost treasure...
Particularly beautiful
Here in Brazil, we do not have something so wonderful.
Mozart en estado puro.
OGNI TANTO ASCOLTARE SOAVE SIA IL VENTO È BELLO

Quando sarò lì per morire, vorrò il prologo del Paradiso
WOW!!
Divine
Interesting, it's haunting!
Very beautiful, and it looks beautiful too. A proper production, not one of these stupid modern ones that pamper the inflated egos of designers and producers.
Dietrich Fischer Diskau performed both Guilhelmo and Afonso on.this vídeo with Gundula Janowitz and Christa Ludwig
It is Walter Berry... he's very resembling Fischer-Dieskau! 😉
Meister und große Könner/ innen
Que maravilla
ausgezeichnet
Could we say this is the best version?
Yes
Definitely yes
I suggest the version with Lisa della Casa and Ludwig and the version with Caballe and Janet Baker

Beautiful, although the bloke is a bit of a honker now and then.
Out of sync, unfortunately.
