RATDOG was it, where it was at. Talk about moving your feet from start to finish.... I miss those days getting Electric at the Electric Factory in Philly, talk about blazing, Peaking at Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe PA, The beacon theater, Chicago, out west, Florida. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh man yeah they were my saviors after Jerry passed.. not to mention they just had it.. laid it down show to show and got more phenomenal every tour. I would love a RATDOG reunion tour. Bobby always new how to get a crowd going...

07 ratdog with kimock was legendary!!!!! Lucky I saw Myrtle Beach and Atlanta although Atlanta was a short show and not as .... legendary

This version of Ratdog was more developed (and better in my opinion) than the earlier stripped-down incarnations.
Thanks so much for this show-sound & vid quality is just beautiful and what a show! Mine Ain and I saw a ton of the Dog starting with the very first Furthur Fest at Alpine in ‘96. Ratdog has always been “her” band since the only Jerry she got was the very last ones at Soldier Field-we toured all over the Midwest and some South with them whenever we could up until about 2010! D&C and Wolf Bros are great too but Ratdog will always have a special place in our hearts!!!
DAMN do I miss RATDOG!!!! Especially w Kimock! Saw SO many shows on this tour, Really like MK, but Kimock brings it to another level!

Thanks so much for posting these Ratdog shows. I worry we may never get Ratdog again. Bobby seems pretty happy with Dead & Co, and is making a shitload of money doing it. This whole set is great.
My love and I were at Ratdog's last show at the Ogden Theater in Denver in July 12, 2014. We saw them at Red Rocks the night before as well. We flew in from NYC and had plans for their fall tour, when Bobby disbanded Ratdog just weeks later. 😞

@@barbarascotto3873 My last one was 3/8/14 in Milwaukee, and I was really hoping to see more. Saw them several times between 2005-2008, and those years are great too. Bobby and Wolf Bros had some extra band members for the 2020 NYE stream from Tri Studios, and I hope he continues in that direction. I really enjoy Wolf Bros, but the added pedal steel and keys really improved the overall sound.
@@sweetdaddyjangles7194 I liked the added Wolf Bros, but sometimes just the paired down "core 3" were more enjoyable. Bob always seemed to enjoy it more when it was just the three of them, although I wish they'd keep Jeff and make it 4. I love Chimenti.
Looking forward to some more Wolf Bros in 2021. Here's hoping. My love died 4 months ago, it's going to be hard going to shows without him.
@@sweetdaddyjangles7194 We also drove out to Indianapolis to see Ratdog March 11th 2014, (which was my favorite show to date) and then drove down to Louisville the next night to see them at the Louisville Palace the next night, in addition to their New York and PA dates in Feb and March that year. We got our Ratdog fix for sure that year, good thing too😞
@@barbarascotto3873 Barbara, I'm so sorry to hear that. When we can finally see shows again, be sure to go. Close your eyes, get lost in the music, and let your memories of your love surround you. Rock your baby to and fro, not to fast and not too slow. Don't worry about crying around your Dead family either. I do it more often than I should : )

Ratmock is the very best of Ratdog hands down. Tho i love all of it from bob and rob, to ratdog revue, to mcnabb w ratdog to karan...all of it.

Thanks for sharing this. There are some wonderful versions of tunes from the songbook, e.g. Baby Blue and Mission in the Rain. Nice work by everyone, but notably Messrs. Brooks and Kimmock. Kimmock's solos on Mission are spectacular.

Was at this whole tour of the NE. Not one bad show. The Albany show... 11-3 ? I think ? Was my fav show of the tour. They opened with Terrapin and ya just knew this was gonna be "one hell of an evening" ;-)
