Neither the Teyes or this Dasaita are Face-Off options. If you must take the screen off, Joying is probably the easiest to remove, provided you're careful not to break the plastic mounting clips every time you take it off and replace it. It would have the most robust screen connection cable which is the least likely to be damaged as well
@@SaabUnleashed thanks for the reply, sorry I wasn't clear what I meant by "face-off" was a direct comparison between the two, screen resolution, build quality, sound quality, features, performance, price/benefit product support all of that, honestly your videos have been the most In depth review I could find of this android units on paper every unit seems to be top notch but in reality and every day use Ive seen a couple that run like a 10 year old smart phone
How do we change home/work shortcuts in map widget as well as launched application (waze/map/etc...) ? ... Great channel, it helped me a lot choosing my head unit
My ZS EV 2023 has a 360 View Camera and want to know if the DASAITA units would be able to reflect this feature on their systems, when retrofit. Thanks.
Any idea how to give storage permission on Dasaita? All other permissions granted, but wants storage permission. Can't see where to do that. Stuck on screen asking for it. Thanks.
Love your videos. Was wondering if you could suggest a single din for a 1992 Nissan D21(Hardbody) truck. I’ve looked at the Sony and Pioneer that would fit but it’s an older truck and they want a lot for their units
Hi mate. I've been following your channel for a while and In my opinion it's the best one I've seen for Android head units. I have a 2016 VW t6 and was looking to replace head unit for an android one, I quite like the cc3 one you reviewed a while back. But my only problem is that my factory radio has the reverse park sensors on it. Do you know if there is an android head unit that i could get so I wouldn't lose the sensors. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
If you like the Teyes, they do www.teyes.uk/products/volkswagen-caravelle-6-t6-1-t6-2015-2020?_pos=1&_psq=T6&_ss=e&_v=1.0 generally speaking, any head unit with advanced canbus integration should retain your car features
Hi, I have Renault Kadjar 2017, and I’m looking for a purpose made unit and surround to replace the existing R Link 2 system, the only one I can find that replaces old with a new unit and surround is a Belsee, I’ve not seen you mention these and was wondering if you have had any experience with them, are they any good?
Hello I love your videos what would you Recommend for a 2010 honda civic it came with a nav system but I want to replace it doesn't work. Also looking for and android unit I don't like android auto or car play
That doesn't help, you've missed the point a bit. To use the Google account on the Android head unit, you would have to log in using the two factor authentication, and you only have to do that once. Two (unlikely) issues then arise. 1.You're logged in on a device that does not share the same stringent security protocols as official phones and tablets, and do not recieve security bug fixes to prevent compromised accounts. 2. In the event someone gains access to your vehicle, they quickly have access to your main email, contacts and anything else you have associated to that account.
Been researching through Toyota forums and RUclips. I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum with JBL, 360 birds eye, rear view park assist camera etc, every top feature for this 3rd gen highlander. What is the best head unit you recommend for my highlander to add wireless apple CarPlay that is straight out of the box plug/play, keep all my current OEM features and not having to add any additional cables, fast processor/ram, storage and reliable? I was looking at Dasaita website, confused on the models offered for mine. It’s showing just 1 model HA5214 but has these 3 different listing (Vivid11, Max10 and Scout). I’m confused by this?/ Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I don't believe anything you can buy will work with your existing factory 360 system, but this will need to be tested as it depends how the car processes the images from the cameras
Have you experienced any issues with vivid launcher volume control on these head units? I have a joying head unit and the volume control has no effect on the volume.
@@besanfali9837 I haven't had any issues with BT but the volume issue remains for now. It's not a deal breaker for me because my joying head unit has a bar at the bottom with all the buttons that I need that I can access even while in the Vivid launcher. But I'm still looking for a solution.
@@mo4low Thank you for the fast reply, seems like the audio does not work for me on both BT and Radio but works on an app like Spotify, the volume slider on vivid keeps resetting to mute and the master volume is on max, but of no use since there is no sound..
The big problem with Waze is; if your in a country like say Bulgaria, when you down load the maps, or install Waze there, it is all written, cities, towns, and other info are in Cyrillic script, great if its our own laugage, but if your from another country and don't understand Cyrillic, your a bit stuffed !!! you then carn't use it..... The PX6 may have been fast when it was released, but again, overall slower performing SoC compared to the UIS7862... Yes it may be adequate but why limit yourself when you can buy a better performing head unit. Nice looking launcher compared to the tacky Agama/CWG etc.
Yeah I'm not sire about this unit. Having issues with it and there doesn't seem to be any kind of tech support or forum to ask questions and get resolutions.
I'm not sure what you mean. I did a full review of this head unit already on my channel. This was just a followup to talk about the updates to the launcher. What more did you want?

Anybody still considering Dasaita stay well clear of these units, they run hot easily and won't last longer than 3-4 years max. My Max10 CP HD is overheating in winters (yes you read that right), because it overheats by the heater being on. These are crap units and the Launcher is nothing special TBH. There is no cooling whatsoever in these units, the heatsink is a laugh. The unit shuts down randomly because of overheating and throttles easily grinding to a halt.
they should add support for different radio tuners so we can have FM/AM support too
Screen size aside, would really like a "face-off" opinion between this and the Teyes CC3 to me they seem to be the top contenders
