Could you maybe make a video where you explain all the outputs and what they mean. Like the pre amp outputs, what are they good for, what is a good range for that, what happens if it’s low or high.
Kind of like a beginners guide for performance. How a car stereo works, what kind of components are involved eg amp, speakers, subwoofer etc. how these are limited by the car stereo system. Would love it thanks

Correction: The HU you reviewed uses the Scout OS. Vivid 10 is much different and so is Max 10.

Installed it on my Honda HRV. The harness that they told me to by from their store wasn't compatible at all. Lost the ability to control the headset from the steering wheel and installation was super hard.
I have an android unit in my 18 civic and you definitely can't see it at night with tinted windows. If your state allows it I'd look into a slight tint.
Kel there another maker that makes factory looking units to replace the one in your accord

I’ve been waiting on a Dasaita I saw two years ago and they haven’t come out with it the unit had an RGB built in the head unit
they need to add more camera inputs. have 6 inputs so it can do a 360 view, lane change view and the last 2 are for front dash cam and rear cam. also have it compatible with maestro rr2
I don't think it's compatible with the maestro RR2. But Dasaits does have a number of harnesses that are prewired with the canbus adapter to keep most of the factory functions.
this on a non floating like maybe 7 inch normal double din and it would be the best thing ever
They do have Double DIN's with the same OS.

It looks like they have a single din and a double din version of this same head unit with all of the same connections. If I have the option for both, do you think there is a difference in hardware? I'm sure cooling in the double din is probably easier.
I bought one off of Ali express about a month ago and it came the other day. I can't wait to hook it up. Mine is the single din version which definitely works in my vehicle due to the adjustability of the screen height which is what I needed.

How flush of an install can you get with their mounting system? Will it look like the screen is set a couple of inches out of the console or can it be made to look almost like a factory install?

Thanks for the reply as I know you can't give an advantage to one company. But I settle for the atoto because of the 5 USB connectors I have TPMS ,DAB ,USB dash cam , USB drive and powering my phone
With the capacitive volume buttons I. That orientation, it feels like it might be the perfect display to rotate 180° and use in RHD cars.
Maybe that's what the design is for? All the Android navs buttons are on the right hand side already?
wish the android version was upgradeable to 11. Only making for android 10 makes it not have full access to the android store. The other problem is the support and documentation for Dasaita sucks. But apparently they are the only ones who have figured out that people want a fully functional android tablet for their car and have it 10"+ inches. Everyone is selling some crappy version of OS and is smaller and less features

These Dasaita and Joying android head units are cool but they tend to act up after few days. I’ve used both brand and both units suffered from screen freezing issue as well as CarPlay lag/can’t connect. I prefer to stick with popular name brand stereos.
I caught flack for the Sony review on this basis 🤷

I’d love that screen but it looks like an Atoto S8 is a better device overall. I really like that they’ve made the screen brackets black and given it the ability to pan side to side a bit.

T'Eyes do the best android head units period (CC3 model). Dasaita Vivid is the second.
T'Eyes has better screen, its faster and have 4g/5g, wifi, Bluetooth, sound amplifier

Problem is no float head unit, it has to be put is custom bracket, which is a problem if you have a car they don’t have a bracket for.

So to install, you have to mount the chassis in dash with screen's brackets attached, then attach dash trim to dashboard, then attach screen to brackets as you attach ribbon cable to back of screen?
The screen is detachable by 4 screws or 2 if you just do the top. Once the screws are removed, you can pull out the screen. Think of slotting in a Nintendo cartridge then locking it in place.

This is an installation related issue, you likely have a factory amp and the way it’s wired is incorrect to the aftermarket radio

There are a variety of reasons and all need to troubleshooted. I would start with rebooting the phone.
is there any company that makes a headunit similar to this, that has an input that can accept HDMI, and has a HD screen to utilize that input? im looking for one that has good sound quality through rcas for my rather expensive audio system (custom doors with prv mids and dd tweeters, pride tv.3 15 on a cab-45 amp), fits in the single din slot of my 93 civic, and will also allow me to run say an xbox one or even my gaming pc on the display through preferably an hdmi when im parked up at a show or wherever (obviously powering the gaming device via an inverter). the sony xavax8100 misses the mark by skipping on the capacitive display unfortunately :/. ive seen that dasaita makes units that miss the mark only because it has just RCA video inputs, no hdmi sadly, unless theres one im not aware of.

I have same unit but am trying to add an amp for a subwoofer. i have those blue an green rca plugs labeled Sub1 and Sub2. i cannot find info anywhere if these are for 2 additional amps or the 2 plugs are to connect to 1 amplifier. Or do i have to use a rca Y splitter. These things can be a headache
RCA splitter is needed for both Sub 1 and Sub 2.
This is looking like the head unit for my 2019 Corolla Hatchback... So tired of the stock crap box Toyota put in this thing. I've been trying every apple pie mini and Carlinkit ai boxes out there... Nothing works well with this head unit.

Is Dasaita from China ?
Installed it on my vehicle a month ago. It was super hard because they've instead me to by a wrong harness. Support is terrible, they have stopped answering my emails and when they do it takes a week or so. Until now I can't get my steering wheel buttons to work. I've also ordered an OBD2 Bluetooth unit but got another WiFi one that doesn't work. Obviously, no refound has been made for the wrong harness or the wrong OBD2.
Have you got your unit to work, if so what are the pros and cons for you.

Pros;
Sound quality is good.
Screen is pretty vibrant.
The ROM is getting updates frequently.
Cons:
Connection to iOS with apple carplay doesn't always works and sometimes stack on mute.
The ROM isn't always stable, might get restart sometimes.
It's not as snappy as my android phone for example.
Sometimes touches doesn't get registered.
If you sure you will end up with your steering wheel controls and you don't intend to use apple carplay go for it, it's nice. But don't expect much from the support team, they won't save you.

Dasaita customer service is terrible. They didn't supply the right cables for my head unit, and now they won't answer my emails when I ask for a refund. Avoid at all costs.

@@ds4390 I have tried it both with the headset's adapter and directly to the wires. Nothing works. I'm getting a really low voltage from those wires. Worked on my old headset.

@@johndonnelly4370 They are, however most slow down after a certain point. Usually somewhere between 20-25 GB. I do however think that's off because my wife kills the internet with 70 GB a month on average. (VZW) If her ish slowed down, I would get the "WTH" is going on ? ... LOL!
@Michael Watson omg that's crazy! No wifi at home?! While I do t think I ever hit 20gb I am grateful a friend a t-mobile gave me friends and family and those plans don't throttle at a certain point.

Its really good.. Bought my first Dasaita head unit 3 years ago, used it with no issues.. Last week i bought the Dasaita HA2206-Vivid10-CP-HD, brilliant in every way... superb sound and crisp 2k screen. Only issue i had with it, it came with VIVID installed, still a work in progress... Hated it.. I installed the MAX10 software... PERFECT...
Support is terrible, It takes them a week to answer an email.
My steering wheel controls stopped working although purchased their proprietary harness for my vehicle.
I've also ordered a Bluetooth OBD2 but got a cheap WiFi one. No refunds was made for buth mistakes.
If you are buying it you are on your own. If you're vehicle will accept it well your in luck, otherwise start digging for answers.

I have owned my dasaita max 6 for 2yrs. Everything still works perfect. The Bluetooth is not so good. Sometime it takes a little time to connect. I only use RUclips music so that doesn't bother me. It has a really good feel to it. Like a nice tablet. And 64g is really not enough memory.
@@johnnylego807 works pretty well with android devices. The zlink app for apple car doesn't work every time. Sometimes you cannot hear anything and sometimes it's working well.

Is there anyway you can use this head unit but get Sony's sound-quality ? The screen seems great for Apple carplay, but i want 5 volt pluss RCA with LOW distortion and premium sound quality!
