Absolutely tragic that these guys never released a full album. I played this EP to death when it first came out (as I did with Extol's Burial and Undeceived and Schalliac's Sonshine). Mordecai was another good band that was similar. I don't care what anyone says. I've been listening to metal since 1986 and Og Sorgen Stilnet I Smertens Vann is one of the best metal songs I've ever heard. Absolutely beautiful and majestic. Change my mind.

I love symphonic black metal from Norway! This EP is one of the ones that it looks like it is really hard to get. I would hope they re realese this album soon so I can get it in my collection! Ancient and their Svartalheim just got re realesed, same with Maanes under ein blood raud maane! I hope this album re realeses soon.

Me myself being a classic black metaller of old (but never dig that satanic part of it really, rather the pagan/nature one) - still very much enjoy this and other so called unblack metal bands (Antestor, Frostharder, Vardoger,...), the right spirit is there. I don´t care much about the particular faiths´ details as far as it is striving for honesty, goodness, highness, nobleness, Truth.... divinity.
Well, but that´s me.

What is this? There is no unblack Metal, call it christian extreme metal or something else, but Black Metal is satanic or pagan.
Many people struggle with "Christian Black Metal" which I can understand very well, because Christianity contradicts with Black Metal with many satanic influences. But I like the name "Unblack Metal", because it stands IMO against the satanic image of Black Metal but also says what it is. You can also say White Metal, but this is closer to the christian Heavy Metal, Glam Metal and so on
Adalmar Bavarian Asatru Black metal is black metal and lyrics does not change it. They do sound like any other norwegian symphonic black metal band and is then considered black metal.

Adalmar Bavarian Asatru Lyrics does not indentifye a genre. Unblack metal is just a lyrical theme in black metal just like viking, pagan or Norwegian legends. I know this wery well since I am Norwegian. Vaakevandring is an inportant part of early Norwegian symphonic black metal in my opinion. I dont seperate them from bands like Enslavement of beauty, Obtained enslavement, Carpe tennebrum, Malignant eternal, Solefald, Tartaros, Maanes, Ulver, Arcturus, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Enslaved, Windir, Borknagar, Ancient, Storm, Isengaard, Gorgoroth, Trelldom, Mock, Kampfar, Darkthrone, Mayhem, Thorns, Blackthorn, Helheim, Kvist, Burzum etc... That was maybe way to many bands but athleast you can search them up and enjoy their music. The reason why I dont seperate is because it sounds the same and is the same Black metal. Unblack metal bands like Antestor, VIXIVI and Stronghold is in my opinion black metal just as much as Mayhem or Burzum.
Uh, you do realize Satan (or HaSatan) originated in Jewish/Christian/Islamic mythologies right? In fact, Christianity in it's origins is pseudo-plagiarized Paganism/Polytheism, considering the fact Christianity originated in Rome and in Greece which were Pagan countries... and on top of that if you transliterate the Bible into it's Hebrew and Greek languages, there is more than one "God" for the myriad of nicknames this one "God" has would in fact be Angels, further, Yahweh was originally a Canaanite deity, not Jewish, and there was no such man by the literal title of "Jesus Christ", it is just a Greek egregoric name misapplied to a group of Jews or Hindu witches that were being hunted and persecuted by the Roman empire as Rome was constantly at war with the middle east... and even further Christianity is chalk full of Demons and Angels in the mythology as well as saints, so Judeo Christianity is therefor Paganism
