This is without a doubt one of the best songs I have heard in a long time. The whole song is perfection. The beat is perfect, the musicianship is perfect, and, of course, the singing is perfect. I can't wait for the new album.

I somewhat agree. Swoon is my favorite album of all time but their third cd just wasn't nearly as good to me even though it is still a good cd

+agenerichuman Funny. Swoon is my least favorite album by far. Carnavas is a Top 5 album of all time for me... Pikul is the best EP I have ever listened to... and Neck of the Woods is a great return to form in my mind. I almost view Swoon as their "sell out" album. :)

Great song indeed but not sure i like how they've processed Nikki's voice to sound like Brian's.
I was listening without watching the video and was sure it was Brian singing. I was amazed to see it was she who was singing when I finally looked up at the monitor. I love Nikki's voice - not sure why Brian thought he needed to mess with it.
The back and forth between Brian and Nikki in the chorus does something to me that I cannot describe, but nevertheless crave.
Nikki's voice is memorizing on this song, I can't get enough of it! Been listening to this song on repeat most of today.
If anyone ever dedicates this song to me I think my heart will burst into a million dandelions dancing.

This song means so much to me.
And it was released right around the time my Dad, suffering from Alzheimer's at 97, with whom I did not have a good relationship, passed away (last October). I'd been drawn to the song ever since I first heard it, and but only realized today that Nikki wrote it about a loved one who had passed and now it all makes sense. Doesn't make it any easier, but it helps. I love all of you, I'm so proud of you, and so grateful for this song that makes grieving just a little easier. You are phenomenal and when your pre-existing awesomeness lands on an emotional subject like this, it is vey powerful. Keep up the great work ❤️
This album is truly wonderful. It showcases their growth so well. A lot of artists keep putting out the same sounding music, thankfully, SSPU is growing and becoming better and better with each successive album.

I'm 49 and will be 50 in 4 months... This music is a REMARKABLY GOOD THROWBACK to some of the BEST music of the 1980's ... They revived the use of the good ole MOOG SYNTHESIZER with all of it's electrosynthetic and natural blend of sounds to make it sound like it comes straight from outer space... JUST LOVE IT!!! (my god these kids don't know what they missed by not being born in the 60's, eh, Havick44? ;)
Please, the music of the 80's was mostly terrible. Pickups are much better then anything from that era.

I loved this band when they first came out, but for some reason I went out of the loop after Neck of the Woods. I got put on hold ordering at Applebees (of all places) and this song was used as hold music, I feel in love instantly and was surprised to find out it was Silversun Pickups and they have 3 albums since I stopped listening to them. I have no idea how this slipped by me, but I adore this song and can't get enough of it.

+Jeremy Novoa if you knew the true message of the song then the other video is powerful and makes more sense than you comprehend it about her losing a close friend and the part with the teddy bear is her friend dying as she hold on to the teddy bear and it gets ripped from her that is her friend that she is not ready to lose Amd holds onto with everything she has and they still chose to ends their life it's more powerful than you know have a blessed day
