I love Pendragon. I got a chance to have Cam Banks the designer of many Cortex games be the GM for a short campaign. He is an amazing GM and I couldn't have had more fun.
Picts are the original Scotti. They have been referred to as highlanders, they were displaced by the mass Irish migration who became the lowlanders. They were at odds with each other.
The song "You take the Highland and I take the Lowland" likely refers to this eminity.
After hearing about Pendragon on The Sunfall Cycle nearly every episode, I'm so glad to see a video that introduces it to me. This is totally a game that I would sink a lot of hours into with the right group. The guys I currently play with might not be interested. Perhaps one day...

This was such a great session. But Infinity got its main dice mechanic from this game?!?! It's my absolute favorite roll-under style system. I'm ordering this starter set from my LGS.

My biggest regret of gencon was leaving the modern CoC show halfway as i had another game that had been rescheduled to overlap. That game was sold out but only me and one other player showed. Should stayed watching the GCN.
Let that be a lesson to you! Never try!
