- Dusk is a little Honedge hatched in Hoenn, who quickly steals his trainer's heart with his outstanding strength. As he grows, his ego grows as well with every minute of attention and admiration he receives from his loving trainer and teammates. But when El leaves for a vacation, he is left at the daycare for longer than anticipated. Finally, when she transfers him to the new region she stayed in, for Dusk there is no question: Now, that he and his trainer are reunited, everything will go back to normal again!
...right?
This has been in the work for a couple of months now :'D I've been receiving A LOT of question regarding Dusk's personality and why he despises Guzma so much and now I can finally answer these questions visually. I've been meaning to reveal more about him far sooner, but other projects got in the way and my original plans of drawing a simple sketched comic quickly turned into a HUGE partly animated project instead.

Why make a rivalry out of friendship? I can understand friends that are also rivals, but competing for people's love and affection seems foolish to me

I feel bad for him, he just loves El, being jealous... it's just normal. Dusk has a really hard shell, but a strong emotional feel for her. Right now, Guzma is like a possible enemy for her. But yeah, it takes time to let go of all these defences and thinking...

This gives me back some trauma. When pokecord dissapeared, my one and only main pokemon, an aegislash called LuckPluck (i will consider you the ultímate lifeform if you understand the reference) vanished forever, as many other did. Lets pray for the souls of all the lost pokemon from pokecord

I love that Lumion is just carried around by the other pokemon on El's team so that she can hang out with everyone. It's so cute!
I'll have to say, Aegislash really is a badass Pokemon. When I first caught Honedge in Y back in 2013, that was the best decision of my life (also did a really bad decision with her since I gave her the Dusk stone BEFORE she learned King's Guard which apparently cant be learnt by Aegislash so RIP but I still kept her on my team all the way to Diantha). It's in my top 10 favorite Pokemon. I want more Aegislash, Gamefreak please bring back Aegislash in every future Pokemon games starting with the Gen 9 DLCs.
I had no idea King's Shield cannot be learned by Aegislash, what a ridiculous choice on Gamefreak's part! :'D But Kudos for you for keeping it on your team regardless, even though without Kings Shield it probably always stays in its Attack form!
And YES, I agree, we cannot get enough Aegislash content :D I hope it still might get added to Paldea with a Pokemon Home update!

This raise a valid question about pokemon breeding, How does a sword or any other object "breed"?
I have Ultramoon but never played another pokemon before that i remember completing, but this video makes me feel different emotions of pokemons i have not had nor another adventure. I'll probably suffer the moment I end up buying Pokemon Shield or Sword. My starter form this generation, Tokoyami,, ah I can't leave him behind. Anyway, such a lovely video!
