The notes will be uploaded to Patreon over the weekend :) I'm sure you are all (banana) split as to whether or not this counts as a dragon, right?
He counts as a wingless dragon, part of the tropical region, known for his deadly caterwaul in the night..... Love you! and have a great day!
All he needs is some little black horns, spikes, or wings. Omg. Wing peels! Lol. I loved this one! ❤
I LOVE THIS! Oh my goodness I love how you made the spots! Seeing how you create the different shapes is always so inspiring.
Flipped through this fast, just to see the creativity come together. Surprising how the entire look took shape for me so fast at the end. I'll always watch these. The artistic thought process is really neat to see.
I do short rows by finishing row A, chaining across the gap and starting row B from the first stitch on row A. That way all of the stitches are facing the same direction. Hope that makes sense! Super cute dragon, I adore their spots
After a very stressful day, your vids always help me to relax. Thank you so much! Also, even if his dragon heritage doesn't show as clearly, a banana leopard is still great by himself!
You’re literally sculpting with yarn at this point! I will never be able to comprehend how you have all the knowledge and skill to think of something you want to make, and how your able to just make it! It blows my mind!
What excellent timing you have! About to have an anxiety attack here, went to RUclips hoping for a distraction, and this is in my notifs! Thank you for saving my evening
Happy I could help! I wish I'd chosen more soothing music XD
I recently found a technique called qussets that works quite like short rows without changing the stitch direction. When you get to the point where you would ch1 and turn, you instead make a long ch eg 10-20 and then skip to the other side of the piece where the short row would end. Work again until the end of the section and step down to the previous round after where the long chain is made and and make a few stitches on this level. Make another long chain and join again a few stitches before you joined last time so you will step up to the next level. Just gusset rows will expand a bit each time if you do it this way but it makes a really clean transition. Every 3-7 gusset rows it's a good idea to do a full round to just reset the original round. Then before stuffing you can even cut all the long chains and tie them so the piece stuffs easily.
This probably made no sense lol but when I first saw it I thought of you because you love the shape short rows give but don't like how it changes the texture of the stitches😅
I DID have to read it two times to get what you're describing.
None of the patterns Ive encountered (only double digits) have used short rows/I don't free hand often, it sounds useful is what Im trying to say.
That's the same way I do it!
About the chains that extend the "cape" and how that turns out slightly crooked: I followed a tutorial once where they did the first chain normally but for the second one they made a foundation row. I think that way the number of rows were the same on each side
making those feet and toes the way you did is brilliant, I'm definitely using that one in the future
Kylie you've done it again! Love this so much! I love how it's pocket sized! Brava!
With your dislike of short rows, have you tried mirror crochet as demonstrated by saddayscrochet here on RUclips?
I've practiced the technique quite a bit and I've actually used it on a few of your patterns because I don't like the look of single crochet in the row. I very much prefer the in round look.
I accidently made a Lemon Pig-Dragon the other day.
She was supposed to be a fox. 😂
I used my "Minion" voice when I found Banana Nesquik at Aldi, and a woman nearby laughed
I am extremely envious of your talent, I wish I could draw what I envision, let alone produce it so wonderfully
also, he might just be a baby, so the wings grow in later
that's so funny, as soon as i saw you roll leopard i thought the banana would fit it since they both are yellow and have spots
The first one you lined was my favorite 😭
Mine too! He was goofier, almost looked like a seal! But definitely banana!
What a fun one! I love his feet! And the montage music rules!
When I have eye issues, I slip knot some thin yarn or thread around the base of the eye, pull it tight and use a needle to pull the thread through where I want the eye, to a back centered space. Then repeat with the other eye, feeding out the same place. Then tie the two threads tightly together before pulling and hiding the ends and knot back inside.
Oh my word he's a cutie!!! You did fantastic.
Does anyone else think that an otter crochet pattern is needed?
Enjoy the video everyone ! I'm so hyped for this one 🥰
Ba-nah-nah is way more fun to say than ba-na-na in the US 😆
Hope you're feeling better! Love this little guy, the combination of leopard and banana works surprisingly well. I think horns would have really made him a little more dragony.
I'm doing something somewhat similar with a weighted plush I got myself. It's a huge axolotl, that came with a bow on her head. The bow was just weird, so I took it off, then turned half the bow into horns. Now I'm going to give her little claws and some squishy silicone toe beans. So she's kind of an axolotl dragon.
Idk, I just though it would be cute
I appreciate the amount of technical explanations in this one!
Yay! You are back! I missed you!
I love your patterns. I had made some for my family and friends. I am looking for THE REALISTIC CAT. Would you mind sharing the pattern. Big Thank You!
HE IS SOOO CUTE!!! Absolutely love your videos and can't wait for the next one😍
"I'm also going to add a fruit..." you absolute chaos agent, this is awesome. Pokemon just don't have enough animals and fruit mushed together for you?
He is ok but the original drawing you did was so much cuter!!! And I know you keep wanting to make them smaller but if I were purchasing a pattern I would want it the size of the pig dragon.
Hi, what length of curved sewing needle do u recommend? I am looking to pick one up for my amigurumis. There is a 2” & 2.5” pack and a 3”-6”.
The fact that you can crochet properly with just holding the yarn with only your pointer is bonkers to me😅 I literally wrap the yarn around my pinky, then weave the yarn in between the rest of my fingers then rest the yarn over my pointer. It’s quite unfathomable to me lol
You know what? I would love to see how you would work this pattern if you actually planned it! Maybe something to consider for a future video 😅
I love it! it's so cute! Cant wait to see whats next!
Maybe some long whiskers (like Chinese dragons have) would help make him more dragony?
His chonky body reminds me of the dragon from the dungeons and dragons movie xD
Aww the Banana bite/nugget looks like it could also be the start of tiny chikorita. The claim is rub a squeaky hook in your hair and the oils from your hair act like lube and it won't squeak.
Are you going to release the patterns for the pig dragon & the leopard banana dragon?
Now I want to see a SorrelSouls collab where you try to crochet the Food Froggers!
If applin counts as a dragon I think our leopard friend counts too!
He's cute! Looks like a baby dragon :) 🐆🍌
Tysm! For doing another dragon video!!😊
I just got back from the hospital and was so glad to see you post! I was really needing a fun video to unwind with ❤ Love the end result! 😊
Omg soooooo cute please do a blue dragon
You made the appealing joke a whole bunch.
I'm so happy you are back! I missed your videos.
i love this series so much!! thanks for sharing with us
I just need this to be life-sized banana sized.
Would love to see you do a llama dragon!!!!❤
he's just a little guy i love him
omg!! It's soooo cute!! xD
What a fun idea! I've always loved fruit dragons, and recently backed The Field Guide to Floral Dragons on Kickstarter. So this video is very timely!
AH I love it so much! Your patterns are always so fun and if I'm ever in a slump I just pick a random pattern of yours and it makes me so happy. I made your hawk moth but in pink purple and peach yesterday and omg. Cutest little buggy ever
I think he needs wings
I haven't finished the video yet, but I wanted to say some of your more fruit-like sketches reminded me of Bananya, a real anime about cats that live inside bananas. If you ever want to watch some adorable, light-hearted shorts, I recommend that series. Either way, your banana-leopard-dragon is cute too! Thanks for the video and have a great week!
very ribberting with the frogging :) ;)
The drawing is so cute! I got more banana shark than leopard - I would definately attempt something like this if I had more of an attention span...and could keep my space clean!
I was thrilled to know you’d posted! I learn so much. I’m trying to freeform a dragon head and all your stitching tricks really gives me ideas. Thanks
Do you happen to have a link to the device thing that is holding your phone above your work?
Also, this guy's is so cute!
I love all your videos. But my fave of all is your 100 hrs owl, I am so in love with that guy!!!
It was this one: www.ebay.com.au/itm/196141148562?var=495992453031 Please note, I have it attached to a lamp that I bought separately, this is only the cross beam!
Thank you bunches 😘
started crochet 4 months ago, am home sick and I love your video's! Love how unhurried they are, you just show the creative process, and it's so fun to see all the stages.
For me, it’s giving banana leopard armadillo.
Now I see ‘dillos as little mammalian dragons with no wings and I’m happy.
YOU ARE AMAZING!!! Another incredible design! ☺️🫶🏻🧶🍌
Sooo nice to see you again! Love these mashups! It’s great that you explain your thought processes when deciding how to produce the shapes that you drew!
omg!🤣🤣
as always such a good display of incredible talent, such a huge inspiration qwq ❤
It's so cute! I always seem to learn so much watching your videos! 🥰❤️
Turned out so stinking cute. Missed your videos lately, so was super excited to see you posted
getting ahead of my notes cause i can already see the future, such a mood lol
You said “banana” so many times in this video it has lost all meaning! 😂
first?
Second, but I'm still glad to see you!
without wings its more wyvern than dragon
I would say it’s a drake, no? Still classified as a dragon though. I always thought all wyverns were a sub category of dragons. Like how there are dogs then there are mastiffs
Edit: drake is also a sub species of dragon that has no wings
@@Shpoogy you are correct, i was thinking of a drake not a wyvern
hope you upload more here
Hiii 18 Minutes
You are super early!
hey, I was thinking another name you could use for your Pokémon could be conundrum since it goes with both themes.
That's a good one!
@@alexaliss8233 thanks
looks like a leopard gecko
You had me worried since it had been several weeks since you posted! I even messaged Lee over at Skein Spider on Insta asking about you 😅
