@@ComplicatedKnots If you do I’d love to see it!!! Maybe you should check out the Hamlet DLC or Don’t Starve Together; I think that Hamlet would suit your gameplay style super well, since it’s a lot more exploration based with a bit of a town building aspect, and Don’t Starve Together has so much more unique content it’s practically a new game.
Also, I just finished the video, and WOAH you blew it out of the park!!!!! I love the Dragonfly especially; it’s insane how well you adapted her into 3D!!! I might have to join your patron for those patterns :)
Also, if it’s not rude to suggest future projects, maybe you should try and do some companions like Chester or Glommer! Or, if you want to keep on doing bosses, I think that the Tiger Shark from Shipwrecked would look super cool in your style. Also, sorry if any of that sounds overbearing or anything like that, this game is just super dear to my heart so it’s so cool to see you playing it!! :D

I am completely clueless about the game, but I love your ability to see something, make something and to make that something utterly adorable!
I hope one day I'll have grown my crochet skills enough to do this.
For now I just kinda combine a few different existing patterns to create my vision, and often it's a bit wonky until I've learned the new stitches lol.
I started the hobby during the Easter break and just finished a shopping net for my mom earlier this week though.
I have a problem with picking my skin (dermatillomania) so crocheting has been the perfect hobby for me! That means hours of my fingers being busy with creating something instead lol.
The creature design in don't starve is honestly the best part of it and you nailed these critters 100% imo! Absolutely amazing!
Have I played the game? Nope. Do I crochet? Nope. But I'm certainly enjoying all the art!
I started playing this when you had to buy it in the browser and got two keys at once.
I stopped playing the first time a tree tried to kill me. 🤣

As a tip for covering up the knotted fluffed out strands, I recommend needle-felting some of the leftover fluff directly on to the knots to cover the base. 😊

I love the moosegoose is basically the spirit animal of my country Canada haha.
I keep contemplating making a crochet version of my fave indie game protag (the beheaded from dead cells) and this is pushing me even further. Maybe ill start with a mushroom boi tho... they might be simpler

Maybe next year you should hold onto all the pieces that didn’t turn out how you wanted and at the end of the year you could make a new creature out of them (or maybe at Halloween as it would probably be a little scary looking).

My friend tried to get me to start playing this game years ago. I even watched him play for a few hours once. When he told me how much time he was dedicating I thought NOPE! especially that I had been playing League with a group of friends for a couple of years at that point. The graphics are different and cool though

I ADORE Don't Starve, in all its forms! So this matches two of my likes together perfectly :D About 7 years ago friend of mine got me the plushie spiderling that growls/hisses at you, and I still have it! I'm tempted to try and figure out how to make an amigurimi tallbird now...

Ive been playing this game pretty regularly with several hundred hours in total since i was in my first year of HS (i have since graduated college and gotten a job) so seeing this notification literally had me screaming in excitement!!!!!!!! These are phenomenal! I only wish they came with a pattern lmao. I might try my hand at copying what i see and seeing how close i get

I love this game! And I love all of the seasonal giants you made! I think Bearger might be my favorite, but the scale texture on Dragonfly is really cool. I’d love to see you play this game more and slowly crochet all of the different creatures. Imagine a little Catcoon or Beefalo.

And yes!! You're absolutely right! Make a knotted bundled with several threads, pull thru the treads to keep the fur secured inside. Then unweave the ply and slowly fluff. It does take a while and can create a lot of floof, but I use it as stuffing.
I have it on Steam. Also someone told me it's out on ios now, so maybe it's everywhere?

Hi I just recently started watching your channel at first all the math and diagrams had me thinking it wasn't for me. I do not design patterns and have no desire learn how I just want to know how to follow them but I just watched you try to crochet a string of plastic beads lol. I was wrong this is just quirky enough for me to enjoy it. I realy think I like you. I just had one question, when I was watching the bead experiment you were trying to string a bead on each stitch and I thought (has the girl ever tried tatting???)

I hadn’t heard of this game before, and don’t like it’s drab look (that’s just a me thing - everyone has preferences), but I love watching you go from a 2D picture and turn it into a 3D object, especially when they’re characters. I like the Pokemon run throughs better, probably because I’m more familiar with them and the monster are more colorful, but this was also enjoyable. The Deerclops was my favorite, especially the antler claws- there’s so much character in them!

I love your videos! I just started crocheting this past year and watching you crochet characters is so inspiring. I keep wondering, how do you know what stitch to use and how many stitches to create the pieces?
For moose goose I use the frog rain by running around near it and the frogs do the work instead. XD
I think it is a quintessential Don't Starve experience to survive a MooseGoose rampage just to be taken out by flying frogs XD

Question, for the bearger, could you not just lightly needle felt on the fluff instead of brushing out? I do it when making Eevee and Eeveelutions that have fluffy collars and tails.
