Hey, not sure if you'll see this, but this came at a really good time in my life. My cat passed away the day after this was posted, and just like Jerry she was a black cat. I just wanted to say thanks for this, I think its helped me move a bit past it all. Time flies, but the memories stay.
i literally watched the whole thing thinking the title was "TIME FLIES" it's only when the title showed up in the end that I realized it was actually "TIME FILES" 😭😭😭😭
My cat and best friend for nine years died just last month. It's heart-rending. I have other cats that I love and adore and that make me happy, but they can't really be replaced, you know? They all have different personalities as well as appearances, just like people. However, I heard a saying that the mourning you feel is just proof of the wonderful relationship you had- the sadness is all just unexpressed love that you didn't get the chance to show them. It makes the pain kind of worth it. I wouldn't want it to not be there, because the fact that it's there means I experienced something valuable.
The pet death-pandemic-breakup combo actually happened to me. My childhood dog died in 2019, the pandemic started in 2020, and I broke up with my then-boyfriend in 2021 because my poor mental health was worsening his anxiety. I conspired to end my life twice in that time frame. Luckily, I finally started therapy a few weeks after the breakup, but it still took me until last September to finally stop grieving my dog. She was my first ever friend, honorary sister, I’ve spent more of my life with her than without her (11 years and I’m almost 20), and I’m still tearing up while writing this.
I lost my best friend the day before everything in our town shut down. She was a 12 year old cocker spaniel with a lot of health problems but I loved her more than anything else in the world. I still miss her every day. Can’t afford a new dog and I know it’s not the same but…. Maybe one day
So you're telling me that all of his relationships and memories in this video was because of the Internet? the internet in this film only played a role as a lens to view from, nothing more than that. Whether the internet is a waste of life or not, depends entirely on how you use it.
I want to leave a comment to say how much hardwork I've seen every student committed for this film to happen. So glad to have a small role in this short film, but SO SO PROUD of my organization and my co-officers who have been planning the LBX Productions to happen that all started with a piece of paper 🥹💕 thank you for appreciating our short film. napaka ganda.. I clicked thinking it was one of those international animation made videos and it succeeded my expectations. kudos to animators and to everyone who put their unmeasurable effort on this video. it's only 6 minutes but I knew how hard to create an animation like this. may you guys keep up the good work.
The time I watched this, I was at the library, I felt really touched when Jerry passed on. I had to control my tears kasi I was in public huhu. These animations really give me a sense of hope and comfort because even after all we've been through, our memories still last, and of course, I adore the style here! Hoping to see more from you guys again!! Keep it up!!
I cannot imagine ever losing a cat. I love my eldest cat and I will hate the day he will meet his demise. RIP Taro. Btw thanks for reminding about mizu5 iiyak nanaman ak mamaya 🥲
I was already about to cry before Jerry got sick. I could see him in every time skip in one way or another, and I could tell he was a very important part of Kado’s life. Everything else just kept hitting me in the gut, so I didn’t pay too much attention to Jerry, since he was the only constant. And then Jerry got sick. I knew exactly where it was going from there. And when Jerry died, I… I cried. I genuinely, actually, cried. I turned my iPad off, I looked away, hid my face in my pillow and cried. I’d never done that in years. Jerry reminds me so much of one of my own two cats who recently passed away as well. Both so stubborn and mischievous, both so intrinsic to our ways of life. Constant. And then they were both gone, just like that. I have low empathy, but that moment made me feel genuine sadness for the first time in a while, and all I can really say to that is… Thank you. (Sorry for how long this is, I just had to get my feelings out in the best way possible. Thank you for reading.)
Dang the part with jerry hits real hard. my cat ran off a couple years ago, and she was very special to me, because when we found her she would have lost her leg AND died…but she recovered, and was a good pet for a long time. Still miss you kitty 💗🫡😭
I'm Filipino myself and a beginner in the Animation biz and when I heard the Pinoy Accent at the start I was already ecstatic!! This is amazing and heartfelt!!

Oh man. I get this , i recently went through a bad breakup and i feel incredibly helpless. My outdoor cats went missing for a while and my oldest cat is passing soon. I get bullied alot and life hasnt been treating me great. But yknow what? Its slowly getting better, it really is. i just wanna say thanks, for making this. It really resonated with me :)
This animation was good!, it represents how life is, is sad, some times good, some times surprising!, everyone gotta continue it, dont give up, u can do it!.
i'm a junior that goes to college for me so i wanna say this film really hit hard. i have a tough time handling how fast my childhood is going and so i think this film really reminded me to slow down, this instantly became one of my favorites; it made me cry and laugh and everything - it's one of the best films i've ever seen. thank you so much for making this, it's the most emotion a short film has ever made me feel :)
This is so beautiful. Is someone who is a younger millennial, and born in 1995 -this was so cool to watch. The ages he was, as he was doing certain things, as certain trends popped up on the screen was exactly how old I was. The nostalgia feels are totally hitting right now 💗😭
So happy that this was in my recommended feed. This short is a wholesome story about cherishing your love ones but or small. And how much the little moments can make a big impact when you’re older or feeling blue. I can relate to this because my family cat tragically passed away right before we headed to go to church. It was rough day for us all. Especially my mom, who was her childhood pet all those years ago. Pumpkins was such a good cat. He likes to chill out on the couch and even stands up like a statue on a podium. He even liked to watch the news with my parents. We have a new cat now. And we kept Pumpkin’s remains with us in a special box. Moon is an adorable cat. She was found behind the stairs before we left to go somewhere and so we took her in and she’s been a part of our family since those couple of years. Thank you to all of the wonderful who helped make this short into reality!
Even though this is an animation, this is very, very realistic and could relate to anyone's life, right? It may start off bright, but as we move on and grow older, is almost always gets worse. But, in the end, things slowly get better and all that joy that was lost has found it's way back to you.
Something I love is that even though tons of people who watch this won't know the language or what's being said like me, they can still understand the story and feel for what's going on. I think that speaks volumes to how great this short movie is. Props to everyone who took part in it
