If you were to do POD, how would you do Etsy ads starting out as you are building your listing numbers? Would you start out without ads, and hope a few grow organically and then run ads only on them?
I personally like to rip the bandaid off faster and spend the money to discover bestsellers faster. But if money is tight and you want to play it safe you can start investing in listings that only gain organic traction first

Can you duplicate listings multiple times, without changing the titles and tags? You wont get flagged for that?
you wont get flagged for that at all, are you saying how do you test out which upsells make you more money?
@@EcomHannah Ah gotcha, thank you! I suppose if one doesn't get flagged then testing different upsells on each listing variation is a way to test for higher AOV, if I'm understanding correctly? And thanks for replying!
@@Ileanapros You should not get flagged regardless. Running 2 listings against one another and seeing which one performs better over 1-2 months is totally allowed

OK, so i have a shop that's been sitting dormant for a couple of years. Tried selling notebooks years ago but didn't do it seriously. I recently tried mockups but now having done some proper research I know POD prints are the way to go for me. I have 6 5* reviews for notebooks, do i just bin everything and start again with the account i have or start a new one?
You can keep building off the existing account since you already have some momentum it is still so early and now since etsy has been randomly banning new accounts i think it is better to just start building off you existing

Hi Hannah! Appreciate your wisdom, new subscriber here! I want to open my Etsy store as I make customized journals & planners. I'm having trouble deciding which POD shop to go with. Would you recommend choosing the same POD provider to ship my journals both in the US and in Europe, or should I choose different ones for each continent? Thank you! 💛
If the quality is still good in other locations that are closer to some customer destinations then the most optimized way to do this would be located based but if the quality of the product diminishes with some providers I would not go with them
Hi Hannah, I opened my etsy store 3 months ago and started working on the products. ETSY put my store in payment temporary reserve. my store is a digital store so everything is delivered right away. i did get 18 orders in a week. im new to etsy but not new to ecommerce been doing it for 10 years.
Congratulations to you! Actually I have payment reserve too but it is not reserving actually because we are directly delivering. I believe that it is kinda bug for digital product stores. May I ask your secret of high sales? Well.. I have just 8 sales in 6 months :/
This happens from time to time with etsy new shops, have you opened a case about it ?
Yes this is for sure a bug with their algorithm its not them doing it manually, reach out as soon as possible

selling POD physical products or selling POD sublimation Svg/pdf files in your store
like i can create good designs in lesser time than wt it would take me to put those design onto mockups and then create variations of that listings...
i would like to know your opinion regarding wt would be estimated revenue after when u will give your best >
Selling digital downloads if done correctly is a really great model because you could sell high ticket and low ticket with really great profit margins. The key is just being a really really good designer and having really good competitive digital products.
Wait so the thing you mentioned at the end for not putting it under as “digital” is so you can include a drop down option?
Yes but then you have to send it to them manually if you get a sale which means you will need a 24 hour VA to respond at all times so def something to consider when cash flow is good and you can invest into havin this
Great tips. For the Last tip about digital products that you set them as physical products (in order to give you the option of put the more expensive products as option). When we do that isnt this against TOS of etsy? Arent we running any danger of banned our accounts? Thank you!
No it is not, it is no different than selling a physical item, the customer is still at risk of the seller never shipping the item. 100% could test :]

I was hoping the video would answer my question but it didn’t… I can’t find any info about my question… I want to know if it would be a bad idea to sell the digital design of a cat graphic print (for example) and in the same Etsy shop sell that graphic print on pod products as well.

What would you recommend?
100% scale etsy to your max potential before shopify, its likely there is many things you have not done yet in 3 months
Keep learning and improving, eventually your baby will grow to the point where she will generate consistent daily sales
