It's stated that the flood were already on the planet by time Spirit of Fire got there, the only reason they were officially discovered on Instilation 04 is because Spirit of Fire never made it back before the Halo incident due to the fact they had to use their slipspace generator as a bomb to destroy the planet. Since they did that, the ship couldn't enter slipspace so they had to fly back to UNSC controlled space the old-fashioned way.
Finally did it and wow how incredibly unfun the last mission was. Looks like only 5% of the player base has beaten the game. Wonder why that is? I really appreciate that it's an RTS game that's accessible to a broader audience but why the time limit with the stupid door order is beyond me. But to be sure I'm thankful for this guide. If have never found that skull and it's even the first one for me.
I have watched this video twice, done it three times, and I still can't get the achievement. Why? I have even followed the order of match symbols. Why am I getting it wrong?
@LoneMarine3 Yeah I know about Project ORION, later called Spartan I, but you can't say that he's a Real Spartan. He was immune to Flood, but he wasn't a walking tank like the Spartan II's & III's with their heavy armor and all. But that didn't stop him to be a badass. Peace!
@1997arbiter there is only 1 scarab in the whole game you can spartan jack and its the one on beach head that the flood hold and the covenant have abondoned so kill the flood holding it but dont kill the scarab select a spartan and press the special ability and he will jack the scarab but it only works on that scarab and you get an acheivment for it
no bungie wanted ensemble to make the game because ensemble studios r grat RTS develepers bungie was planing to make halo a RTS but it didnt turn out well because they had problems thinking about the controls

i did the same thing...only instead of my spartans, i killed 3 wraiths, 5 locusts, and a TON of jackals...they counter-attacked as i killed their last base...it was awesome

Just grab all the bases except there last one, build six grizzlies for each side and 2 marines for the opening points and wait. You recieve a 6x multiplier for your k/d ratio, so don't build anything small or useless. As stated its real easy, 40mins to a hour, and a sure fire way of getting it.

Everyone, titan achievo is extremely easy. Just play release and camp the flood release spots with grizzlies. Btw you need about 3.5k for the achiev (for the 6x multiplier)

my advice for killing scarbs: build vultures! with the special attack (Y)

if you open the swith when the scarab is standing on the shiel;d when the shield disappears then the scarab will; fall and it counts as a kill
there isn't much of an order, just open one then follow the arrow to the next

the only scarab you can control in the story is the super scarib and its only on one lvl
this game is so set up for a sequel... there's even an achievement that says so

@blackfire1961 just use pelicans to transport troops and use cyro bomb,carpet bomb, and Mac blasts only on the scarabs and you'll be just fine.
