Please note the earlier warning by another reviewer! The new back glass replacement that I received also came with new lens window assembly installed - BUT NOTE - there is a thin plastic cover over the lens window (ON THE INSIDE) which MUST be removed before installing the back glass. I read the warning from William P. below before doing my installation, but still missed it. On another note, while perhaps I didn't use enough heat (didn't want to damage the phone) be warned that I had micro glass shards splinter off while removing the old cover. The back glass went on easily and looked great when I was done.

Thank you very much, ive done it in less than 30 min and im happy with the result. 1 Advice: Be careful with the metal tool ( think blade ) its very sharp and i cut myself quite a few times without even noticing
There is no need of applying glue around the edge? Like for example B7000.
About fifty-fifty or the number of sellers of the back glass for this phone that do have the battery lens cover and then the other ones do not.
Why didn't you use the new camera lens? And you have to remove old adhesive from frame so new glass will stick. I didn't see you clean the camera lens before reinstalling it into new back. Should there be new adhesive on camera lens ?

Where is the video for the iPhone 8 plus ???? I just got the back glass and there is no camera housing attached to it. How can I install this if the old camera housing doesn't fit????

What are the rubber bands for?
The rubber bands are supposed to be for holding the back glass battery cover on the phone’s body until the adhesive, earlier in the video the old adhesive was removed, around the edges dries and sticks. It looks that there wasn't any new adhesive applied or that it was done off camera. I was looking for putting on the adhesive as it is very sticky.

I always wondered if there was a way to take it apart, I was told it was like the IPhones where you can't take the back off. My dad tried with a Samsung tablet and the whole thing exploded Lol!!

EASY to do but you left out a step. You MUST remove the old camera and proximity sensor plate/grommet from the phone before installing this new back. I did not know this and had to buy another one from your Amazon store. After doing the proper missing step the back fits fine and the phone looks brand new!

They also looked to have missed replacing the adhesive that goes around the edge of the phone for the battery cover.

I replaced mine, with the original black glass glass, with a silver one to make much easier to see if I dropped it on the floor of my vehicle. It was very easy to get the back off, clean it properly and adhere a new back glass cover.
Its super easy. This guy makes it look a lot harder than it is. (heck he made opening the BOX look tough.
