Wild set-up, it looks like you're about to investigate a UFO crash site! But if it works, it works!
Being a videographer I found this Trick.. Invention.. Concoction,, (or whatever you want to call it), a tremendous idea and can't wait to try it out. Thanks Mr. Markus!
Nice idea, but I think mounting the third light on a hat is preferable. I don't want to watch out for low door frames when busy recording a take.
The result looks amazing!!! Actually I love the idea of the hat light hahaha!! strap that light on to a helmet (to avoid burning hats just in case) and you are golden!! Thanks Markus!
Awesome. I did something similar years ago when shooting walk-through videos of homes, a fitness center and a museum. I mounted my battery LED panels to my DJI Ronin and had an assistant follow holding the 3rd light.
I am about to do an 8-day show on a shoestring budget and I am def giving this a try. Don't know why I never thought of this before! Lol. Also took his advice and got two older little camcorders for live streaming. As a small operation in a cash-strapped market, these sorts of innovations help a lot. Check out his video on using chiffon as a scrim. Genius.
Just discovered this channel and it's my new favourite RUclips videography channel. This guy's energy and attitude are very cool 😊 Get the feeling he's the kind of person you would enjoy hanging out with in real life. Keep up the good work man. Subscribed 👌
The best workout you can find. Your biceps 💪🏻 wil burn like hell.
Awsome rig Markus. I like that you can bend that top on left and right and make one side dominant.
You are my favorite videos tips and production tutorial Markus
So cool, Markus! I love the rig, but I really love those lights. I always learn so many things about photography & health from you & Cara. I bought my little Sony RX100 VII for an Italy trip because of you. I love it!
What great videos and ideas man! Keep em' comin'!
SUPER IDEA!!
Thank You Markus!!!
Hat light is sweet!
This guys videos are so enjoyable to watch
Yo Markus! did you know that the Sony lens caps are 18% middle gray?! Let’s check it out!
Cool. Thanks!
I thought you were interviewing a camera rig lol. My bad. Great video 😂
🌎🔥🔥🔥🔥🌎
Just waiting for Camera Conspiracies to ask you to convert this for vlogging.
Very cool. Nice gallery of past work on the wall. Prints can be awesome.
Thanks. Here is the recent video on the wall of memories ruclips.net/video/2_3WWt9CjnQ/видео.html
@@MarkusPix Very cool story about getting the tree just where you wanted it. A painter can put the trees where ever but a photographer has to work for it. My favorite part of your work is how the environment/geography compliments the photo. The sense of place that you capture is just so cool. The video worked I am inspired. Thank you both.
and this is why we subscribe.
Thanks for sharing.
Markus, can you test out some TUBE lights? Their 1-2 feet long shape seems to reduces shadows without requiring huge modifiers.
Wow great job!
Neat idea.
I've got one of those cold extension shoe mounts! 😊
Viva el Markus!
Hey Markus,
after watching your video on the Samsung NX500 i looked into getting one for myself and while researching, stumbled upon an old forum discussion from when the 500 had just released where people compared it to the 300 and preffered the latter. Apparently the 20MP sensor produced sharper images and the colors were preferable as well. I haven't seen you talk about this model yet, would love to hear your take on it. Seeing as you're a fan of Samsungs lineup i thought you might also be interested in that
The Madhatter strikes again!!! ;-)
Be interesting to see what you would do for walk and talk Vlog setup, for evening time after golden hour. Or hour before sunrise. Getting that lighting right is always tricky. Not bright enough looks grainy but at least you can make out things around you. Too bright, all you see is yourself and everything else is in the dark accept for street lights.
You´re a genious!
I heard somewhere that the best innovations come from outsiders, ie a construction guy can look at a problem and fix it while the university educated guy just talks to his peer group. The narrow focused guy tries eg to sort out little sliding up and down lockable legs on a c clamp on uneven ground, construction guy just says use some wooden wedges.
FWIW…I run two Halo lights on a the handles of my Z-axis rig used with my DJI Pocket 3…fewer shadows…Might get a 3rd for an overhead light
Is this the opposite of low key? 😂 So cool thanks Markus.
I predict companies will be taking notes, and then they'll conveniently be releasing similar products next year.
I wish Hollywood would hire you for a major production to light. Would love to see the collaboration & style you would bring to the silver screen. Any offers or upcoming productions TV or film?
Love your videos!!! Can you do how to Battle low light noise in club videos on a shoe strings budget. Thx 🙏
Love the quick video. Do you find you need to do a lot of post on a video like this?
Would love to see you using a leica or hasselblad
I think I found a better alternative to the firefly M40 or the Neewer 176s you recommended a while ago. The godox ldp18bi 18w npf powered panel
Cool setup :) I just made something similar in the latest video on my channel, but even cheaper, with cardboard :D
For the followup video I’m mounting metal plates on the front for two of the smallest magnetic tube lights on each side, and a tiny ulanzi square led light in my cardboard cold shoe mount on top for a similar setup, works great :)
👍👍👍👍👍
👍
Hello Mark, would you consider making a video on what miminual gear you would suggest using in 2024 if you were just starting a youtube channel. Wether its vlogging, outside adventure, or nature. Preferably for somone on a limited budget. Thanks always appreciate your expert advice 👍
ok
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'm like you but poor lol love tinkering with gear
Have you ever wanted to make another movie? With all your knowledge and resources I bet you could do a great one, and even crowdfund it. Is there any script or idea in your mind for a movie?
Yes The Icebrg project ruclips.net/video/sFhCS4Pc1OM/видео.html
and The Atomic City project ruclips.net/video/vsgqODAmGtk/видео.html
Could you rig a soft box halo around the lens?
Do you need both rods for the centre light or could you stick to just the flexi-rod?
It needs to be above head level
led tubes are better haha
As an event cameraman this would hit low chandeliers, light fixings , door frames etc
Then I'd hand hold a light like this ruclips.net/video/V-cwoviVlIg/видео.html
