If anything it just shows you how strong he is. If either Mina or Hoshina were in that situation they would’ve died before Kafka got to that state.

Yeah I wish they elaborated on it more and talked about how a lot of the numbers weapons they had especially after No.6's emergence killing swathes of the defense force as they said are still sitting in cold storage since they can't find anyone compatible to use them. Including the ones that had former users that died during 6's neutralization. Granted they'll probably elaborate on this more next season since its gonna head into the numbers weapons arc so I guess they're saving it for that.

Plus, the standard issue suits and weapons function the same with how their percentages work, it's easy enough to guess that those function and bond with the wearer through compatibility aside from constant training.

A lot of people missed something last episode. The kaiju inside Kafka shouted "kill kaiju" when Kafka lost control. It wasn't trying to either kill her Dad nor just going into rage mode it was obviously reading the kaiju 2 gloves as a living kaiju and trying to kill it.

I'm genuinely surprised with Director Shinomiya, I thought he was gonna complete jerk like Endeavor was. But he's actually pretty cool, he not only gave Kafka a chance to prove he's still human. But he's also held his own against currently the most powerful kaiju for a good while.

Kafka when he fought at the test, was a whopping 9.8 Given in this episode he turns red, I can only assume he jumped to a fortitude 11 or 11,5 given how he not only got larger. He got more durable, if not twice as strong. Since his size before was around 7 feet normally, That. Looked like 20 ft+ so not only does he evolve the angrier he gets, but also he's holding back ALOT
I personally think it's not that Kaiju tried to turn human into another Kaiju. I think that "Little Kaiju" that Kafka ate have some kind of beef with his kind and decided to join humans in eradication of other Kaiju and that's why he only says "Kill Kaiju". Also i think that by "eating" Kafka from the wall that was holding him, he helped him gain control back. But hey, im just guessing here.

If season 2 follows what I remember of the manga Kafka is going to take a back seat as MC while the story focuses more on the other members individual training. It turned a number of people off the manga but I liked that the other characters got more screen time.
I don’t think No. 9 sent that kaiju to kafka, because from that episode it specifically targeted kafka and during this fight with the Director Kafka lost control because his kaiju was reacting to No. 2 not the director himself. So it seems No. 8 hates kaiju
when that other commander said "including your wife", my brothers and I couldnt stop laughing like buddy's that one friend that kept adding in unnecessary (but related) info as you try to explain/deescalate a situation imagine breaking up a fight and all is well until your homie tries to support you by yelling, "you would of beat his ass up anyways." 😂
its funny how they're so against Kafka using kaiju powers to help other people when they literally make they weapons/suits from kaiju to use it to save people, make it make sense!
Was kind of a bummer they didn't add this to the anime and it wasn't pointed out more during the meeting, but what also convinced the brass to go with his decision on keeping Kafka alive was that he made it a point to them and stated that no one else but him and like a handful of other captains and vice captains in the defense force across all the divisions can take on Daikaiju alone like that and live in close combat. A lot of the other captains and vice captains are ranged specialists and would quickly find themselves getting overwhelmed or outright killed if they tried to go at it alone like that without team coordination or even with it. So pointed out to them that they're downright handicapped or at a massive disadvantage for neutralization capabilities even with the numbers weapons if something as strong as Kafka or No.6 emerges again, or as his train of thought was during this meeting if multiple emergences happened all at one time. But I'm guessing this'll be elaborated on more next season when it goes into the numbers weapons arc and training arcs for all the cast.
While that’s an idea, it would be from the ‘smaller’ version of his body, before he got particularly jacked. Also, feel like that would be a wild move even among Kaiju, chucking your heart out mid-fight on some tricky ish should be _terrifying_ .
10:15 the reason Mina was crying was because she lost her cat from a Kaiju attack at that time. It´s a little different from the mange since there was no car in this scene.
Its not a weird way because what if that happened when they gave him a chance and then this happened he would've clapped everyone while on the battlefield.
Kafka's Kaiju didn't take over his body because he went into fight or flight mode. He was never scared of #2 Kaiju to begin with as you will see what level of powers is he on compared to #2, nor was Kafka scared. He was dodging to avoid any fight with Kikoru's dad. The kaiju took over his body because Kafka wasn't going to kill #2 Kaiju and he realised it. Rest of the time, Kafka went straight for the kill so the kaiju inside Kafka didn't need to take over his body. This isn't a spoiler, since everything that is known about Kafka's Kaiju from the manga has already been animated. We don't get to see this kaiju even untill the latest manga chapter 109. But the manga panels were a bit more explanatory with Kafka's kaiju intentions. HE EXISTS TO KILL OTHER KAIJUS.

I personally think it's not that Kaiju tried to turn human into another Kaiju. I think that "Little Kaiju" that Kafka ate have some kind of beef with his kind and decided to join humans in eradication of other Kaiju and that's why he only says "Kill Kaiju". Also i think that by "eating" Kafka from the wall that was holding him, he helped him gain control back. But hey, im just guessing here.

If season 2 follows what I remember of the manga Kafka is going to take a back seat as MC while the story focuses more on the other members individual training. It turned a number of people off the manga but I liked that the other characters got more screen time.

I don’t think No. 9 sent that kaiju to kafka, because from that episode it specifically targeted kafka and during this fight with the Director Kafka lost control because his kaiju was reacting to No. 2 not the director himself. So it seems No. 8 hates kaiju

Was kind of a bummer they didn't add this to the anime and it wasn't pointed out more during the meeting, but what also convinced the brass to go with his decision on keeping Kafka alive was that he made it a point to them and stated that no one else but him and like a handful of other captains and vice captains in the defense force across all the divisions can take on Daikaiju alone like that and live in close combat. A lot of the other captains and vice captains are ranged specialists and would quickly find themselves getting overwhelmed or outright killed if they tried to go at it alone like that without team coordination or even with it. So pointed out to them that they're downright handicapped or at a massive disadvantage for neutralization capabilities even with the numbers weapons if something as strong as Kafka or No.6 emerges again, or as his train of thought was during this meeting if multiple emergences happened all at one time. But I'm guessing this'll be elaborated on more next season when it goes into the numbers weapons arc and training arcs for all the cast.

Its not a weird way because what if that happened when they gave him a chance and then this happened he would've clapped everyone while on the battlefield.
Kafka's Kaiju didn't take over his body because he went into fight or flight mode. He was never scared of #2 Kaiju to begin with as you will see what level of powers is he on compared to #2, nor was Kafka scared. He was dodging to avoid any fight with Kikoru's dad.
The kaiju took over his body because Kafka wasn't going to kill #2 Kaiju and he realised it. Rest of the time, Kafka went straight for the kill so the kaiju inside Kafka didn't need to take over his body.
This isn't a spoiler, since everything that is known about Kafka's Kaiju from the manga has already been animated. We don't get to see this kaiju even untill the latest manga chapter 109. But the manga panels were a bit more explanatory with Kafka's kaiju intentions. HE EXISTS TO KILL OTHER KAIJUS.
