This song….THIS ONE…….was the first Rush track I ever heard. They’ve been my fav band ever since!!!! I was dumbfounded, slack jawed awe……. GUP is a GEM of a record……every track is epic!!
Sounds like a I may be just a titch older than you, as my first Rush listen was probably Subdivisions (on Much Music) and my first Rush album was definitely Signals. It just took me a couple of years to be old enough to drive to Toronto with my friends (from Kitchener-Waterloo) to see them live.
@@SnowDogisVictorious I am a wee bit older than both of you. 😉 The first Rush song I ever heard was In the Mood.
I just stoped in to see how you were feeling .
Very glad to see you’re better than yesterday.
I only watch Queen , so I can’t comment on Rush .
Have a good night. ❣️
You did this album, Grace under pressure, in full a few months back. It was part of the second side and I remember you really liked the second side quite a bit.
INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE BY EVERYONE!! RUSH ROCKS!! I SEE NOW WHAT MY EX AND LATE HUSBAND SAW IN RUSH.
I MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEEING THEM RUSH LIVE, AT THE TIME THEY WERE NOT MY CUP OF TEA. I MISSED OUT DANG IT!! 3 AMAZING CANADIAN MUSICIANS 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦!! INCREDIBLE REACTION RORY 💙 WE LOVE RUSH!! THANK YOU TODD FOR THESE AWESOME REQUESTS!! 😊💓🔥🤘✌️
1. You're welcome.
2. Neither my current nor my late wife fancied Rush either. That was a shame. Made it harder to find people to accompany me.
3. At least both of them quickly came to love Blue Rodeo (my late wife from 1992 to 2005 and my current wife from 2006 to the present).
4. Just a little over a week ago, I saw Bryan Adams with my old friend (and high school sweetheart) here in London, Ontario. After she arrived and chatted with my wife (who couldn't attend because we had just taken possession of a puppy the night before), my wife mentioned that I had told her I had never seen Adams before (which I thought was true when I said it). "No, no," my friend explained, "we saw Bryan during his Reckless Tour (1984-1985)." My wife wasn't surprised because I am well known for my terrible memory of personal events. I looked it up the other day and apparently it's not uncommon for folks with ADHD (like me, and Rory). Anyway, my friend subsequently told me that we had also seen John Cougar Melancamp, as well as Peter Gabriel (twice!) and - of course - Rush (probably for the 1985 Power Windows Tour). Too bad I can't remember any of it today!
Yup, it's from 1984's Grace Under Pressure. It's just a much older Rush playing it live. I like to mix up the requests with old and new, sometimes in the same performance!
Really happy I could be of assistance in getting you back into the reacting groove.
Bytes breaking into Bits! That's what Rush songs do. Such complex arrangements. It's bedn said before- Thinking Man's Rock-n- Roll.
1980's Rush I grew up on!
Fantastic tune! This album is awesome
My favorite song when I was a kid being raised on Rush
Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage documentary Rory please and thank you for your reactions :)

Always appreciate your reactions Rory - you are in the top 3 reactors for me. Glad you are feeling better.
