Hours and hours and it's finally done. Thank you very much. Very complex work, but very satisfying result! Your tutorial is fantastic! Thank you very much!
I've painted with oil and acrylics but rarely with watercolors, and I don't know why because water color is my favorite because of the way it does its own thing when the paint hits the paper wet. I just love that. This is absolutely beautiful!!
You're really good at picking the colors you'll use. I personally struggle in choosing the colors I will use. My eyes aren't trained yet in seeing the color variation in my references. I had painted a rose painting using magenta only as the color. It looked good but not that great. It looked flat. lol I wish I can be as good as you.
So beautiful! I plan to try this. May I ask which watercolor brand you’re using for those colors? I’m sure I can get close with what I have but I’m not familiar with those names, the red violet and the others
Hi Kristina 🙂 I thought I’d try to follow you and give this a go from your free tracing of the dahlia, but unfortunately it doesn’t allow me to print it.
@@KristineArt Hi thanks for responding…. yes, I saved it like I did once previously. This time it kept chopping the sides off no matter what I tried. 🙂
i drew a dahlia & couldn’t begin to figure out how i would paint it, this video is great!!

You need to try and mix colors from those pigments that you already have
Hi Kristina 🙂 I thought I’d try to follow you and give this a go from your free tracing of the dahlia, but unfortunately it doesn’t allow me to print it.
Very strange, did you downloaded it first and then try to print from your device?!?
Just tried to download from public account and it went very well - allowed to print it, no problems
@@KristineArt Hi thanks for responding…. yes, I saved it like I did once previously. This time it kept chopping the sides off no matter what I tried. 🙂
@@KristineArt just tried again straight from the sight, without saving, and it did the same thing.
Ok, can you send me an email art@kristineart.com - and I will send you reference photo with line drawing
