Stunning. The dahlia is really difficult for me to paint but you make it look effortless.
Just give it a try! I hope you will like it!🌸

Amazing! Best dahlia I’ve seen! 😊 Thank you!
Thank you for your kindness!
I really appreciate you taking the time to teach 😊 thank you 🙏
That’s my pleasure!🌸🌸🌸
Gorgeous flower. Thank you for sharing your great, flowing and detailed technique to create it - One botanical comment - Dahlias don’t have small fern like fronds with symmetrical 2 sided projections. Your other larger leaves were beautiful, but for dahlia lovers, the frond thingies would be a little confusing…
Thank you for your note! There is much to learn about flowers 🌸🙏
Fabulous video. Much appreciated! I've had a tough time painting dahlias, and this blotting technique was really helpful
Thank you so much for your feedback! I am very glad it was helpful!🌸🌸🌸
Thanks so much for this beautiful tutorial. So pretty! You're very talented
Thank you very much for your kindness Linda!

Gorgeous!
Thank you! Cheers!🌸🤗
wow, beatiful!!!
Thank you and happy holidays my dear
Happy holidays!
My paper was not great for this practice, but it still somewhat looked like a flower, so I'm going to try it again tomorrow with better paper. Great tutorial! thanks!
Thank you so much! Paper matters a lot, sometimes it takes time to find “yours”
With your tutorial, my dahlia turned out well, after a couple of failures following another artist. But I couldn't achieve that beautiful cafe au lait color you describe. Could you please advise how to mix paints to get this color? Also, should the petals dry before I paint the second layer? Thank you for this beautiful tutorial, Olga.
Hi Yulia! Glad it was helpful! Just experiment with your pink and orange paints and water amount and you will find your best mix! To make more define petals, it’s better to dry the previous layer
So beautiful! You list the Princeton brush but what is the quill that you are using? Thank you.
I use Søstrene Grene very often, but they might be not available worldwide, so I could recommend Princetone as they are very good as well!
Thank you!
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. I really enjoyed seeing you paint, and the flower is fabulous.
Thank you so much for your kindness!🤗🤗🤗
