As an internist again I want to congratulate you on your vast amount of knowledge and how well your grasp of medicine is . I am watching all your videos for my ABIM recertification board review and I am just loving it . One thing I wanted to share with you is that I honesty believe all medical students preparing for USMLE and even us physicians studying for either certification or recertification will benefit from your videos and I wish there was a way for your videos to find the medical students and physicians as well Your understanding and knowledge of medicine is much higher than an average physician. Please keep up the good work and make more videos for everyone . Thank you
@@cramthepance I am very serious , target medical students and even physicians as well . Keep posting videos and then you will see your subscribers will exceed 100,000 and will continue to grow , trust me . Post same videos as to help not only to PA but medical students and physicians as well . We all study same subjects and believe me everyone can benefit from your knowledge and the excellent way you teach .
I'm 1 week out from my PANCE and I tried REALLY hard not to cram, but here we are lol. I love your hearing your chuckle after giving us a mnemonic. We all know the despair of trying to remember all this info but the mnemonics do help, regardless of how far fetched they might seem. THANK YOU!!!!!
3 days from my PANCE and have watched your videos countless times over the past 2.5 years. Your videos are amazing and they have helped me immensely!! You have helped so many students and PAs! I just wanted to let you know that your amazing videos are so appreciated! I like that you give a little patho/background to help make sure we understand it too, not just memorize it. THANK YOU!
Would you be able to explain why hypertrophic cardiomyopathy has an S4 - in my mind S4 is associated with diastolic hf, whereas in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy it appears to be more of an outflow / systolic issue? Thank you so much for all of your work@@cramthepance
Thank you so much--I am currently studying for my third PANCE coming up in less than 3 weeks, and your videos are helping me out a lot. I love how you only include high yield information and don't waste time getting into the weeds.
So helpful! As a visual learner, I like the pictures you chose and as always amazing mnemonics! The quiz is helpful too to really solidify the knowledge. Thank you for this!!
Absolutely LOVE your videos, they have been extremely helpful. You make it remember so easily. Any chance that you are making a dysrhythmia/arrhythmia video in the near future? Thanks so much again for all that you do!
I love all of your videos and podcasts! So many people in my class use your podcasts ALL of the time, the mnemonics and explanations are so incredibly helpful, thank you!!
Your videos are amazing!! Every time I use your videos to review the material before my exams, I feel confident and pass my exams. I don’t have to take the PANCE for another 1.5 years, so I hope you make more videos by then. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I've got OBYGN coming up in about a week. Any chance you would be able to upload videos on OBGYN/Women's health soon please? Your videos are EXTREMELY helpful in helping me understanding the material. I'd greatly appreciate it.
I wish I could, I don't think I'd make it in time though, I'm finishing up a neuro video right now. Sorry! I will get started on that section soon though!
I thought PE- (Pulmonary Edema) is mostly associated with Right-side heart failure, in your video, on min 4:02 you eluded left-side heart failure symptoms as PE? Mind clarifying, please?
The part of the video you are referring to I state that peripheral edema is seen with right sided heart failure, not pulmonary edema which is more commonly seen in left sided heart failure. Let me know if thats what you mean, or if there is anything else I can help with. Thanks!
Remember, pulmonary edema,= fluid in the lungs, is more commonly seen in Left sided heart failure (Left sided=Lungs), and peripheral edema (swelling in the extremities etc) is more commonly seen in right sided heart failure as the fluid is backing up into the rest of the body.
@cramthepance, I graduate PA school in June and owe much of my understanding of medicine to you - so you're officially invited to my graduation just so you know 😂
CTP: "take a 3 and put it on its side - what does it look like?" Me: uhhh.... a ballsa- CTP: "Thats right, the ventricles of a heart" whew - Almost got me there

In addition to AMY HAS you can say "AMY HAS the RIGHT to KUSS". To remember the right sided symptoms and Kussmaul sign :)

very impressed with your knowledge and your ability to simplify this content, and you're a fabulous teacher!
Thank you so much!!
Another way I memorized S3 with systolic and S4 with diastolic was by their syllables! Systolic has 3 and diastolic has 4, I hope that helps :)
That's an awesome way to remember it! Thanks for sharing!

Thats good. I also use the shape of the letter - S in systolic looks like it has 3 horizontal lines; D in diastolic looks like it has 4 straight lines
