I took a practice exam yesterday and I scored WAY below the average for cardiology. I spent a few hours watching all of your videos, and did a second practice exam and I scored above average 😭❤️😭❤️ by far my favorite lecturer. I too would donate a kidney. I also have O neg blood type 😂
I studied ONLY YOUR material and I passed the PANRE! Thank you for all the time and work you put into making these videos! I am extremely grateful for you!!
You are single-handedly saving the Dominican PA program class of 2023. Literally the only reason we're all passing our blocks are because of you LOL! Thank you so much!!!
You are a genius ! This format is unbelievable and I just love it . Board certified internist and I just found this video accidentally as I am reviewing and preparing for the every 3 months ABIM questions for recertification. I will go through all of your videos . This is very very helpful to the point and super compact ! You are very smart and I wish you the best in life ! Thank you again !
Thank you so very much for doing this! These quick overviews are extremely helpful and convenient to listen to on the go. I was preparing to take my PANCE and a little worried because there was just so much information to digest when a classmate told me about your podcast. I started listening and as the test got closer I began to listen every moment I could (in the car, morning commute, cleaning around the house, whenever) and I’m happy to say that I passed the PANCE! A lot of what you reviewed was definitely asked or referenced and even when it wasn’t a direct topic that you covered your bottom line approach to explaining and answering questions helped me figure out the answer! Thank you again I will DEFINITELY recommend Cram the PANCE to the students graduating behind me.
I absolutely love your videos. After a long day of pounding power points, sitting down with a bowl of popcorn and watching some of these videos is actually pretty relaxing. Thank you for sharing your incredible gift of simplifying medicine with the rest of us!!
I don't know how I found your videos man but you are the KING! You simplify stuff so well and just give it to us straight to the point. Owe you HUGE!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU MAN!
You make learning this stuff easier than it has ever been, and I live for your mnemonics! I'm always just mad I didn't think of them myself because they are so good lol. Thank you so much for doing this
I passed my EOC today and watching your videos helped me a lot to prepare for the exam. Thanks so much for your content. You are a great educator. Not everyone has the skills to teach, and you definitely do :) Continue to use such an amazing gift to help others.
I literally don't know what I'd without your content, it has been helping me out so much! You're great at explaining, thank you for all that you do, truly!!!!!
Absolutely love all of your videos. If you are still creating more, a video on other arrhythmias would greatly improve my life lol But if not, I am so appreciative of all the other ones you have taken the time to make. Tysm!!
Hi Scott, I just want to say your videos helped me pass my pance!! I received my score today and I did way better than I thought!! Thank you so so much for sharing your knowledge!! I will definitely share the word about your RUclips channel and pod cast/Spotify!! Thank you!!
Thank you for the wonderful teaching material. I wish it would be a OBGYN section too). I watched/listened to your videos at the end of my study day for the PANCE and even fall asleep with material rolling. The “BASH” mnemonic I did use in my PANCE cession, for sure. I passed my PANCE and am very thankful for your hard work.
I had to take the PANRE on 2 week notice because I was an idiot and forgot to pay my maintenance fee. “Crammed” your videos and passed! Thank you for these!
You are awesome! Thank you so much for your efforts. I'm so glad I found your podcasts on apple. I wish you the best in all that you do. I'm prepping for my PANCE at the moment and will definitely be making a donation to your channel. Thank you again :)
Omg thank you! Taking my PANCE in like 2 weeks and these videos are a great review. My only regret is not finding your channel earlier. Also, would you be able to do high yield Qs for MSK and neuro?
For qs 38, you said for some reason they always like to ask about inferior wall MI. I read somewhere in Uworld or Rosh qs explanations and in stat pearls that 40 % MI involve the inferior wall, maybe thats why they like to ask about it in exam. 😅 Thank you for the great high yield work. 😊
This is Logan this is to dada. I love it just thank you for these videos and playing logan and dadas world again just thank you for all you do for me and others
Good question. Digoxin is generally considered a second line med for heart failure due to its narrow therapeutic window. This is the info from Uptodate: "Clinical trials have found that digoxin reduces HF hospitalization but not all-cause mortality in patients with HFrEF [21-29].... In a trial that included 6800 patients with LVEF
Love your videos. Seriously these and the podcast are awesome. Just noticing that S. aureus is now listed as MC in endocarditis. Do you think the exams will reflect that? (Native valve endocarditis: Epidemiology, risk factors, and microbiology. Uptodate.)
Thanks so much! So there is definitely some conflicting data, some studies in subacute show a higher prevalence of Strep species ( Streptococcus viridans in 26% to 32% of cases and S. aureus in 27% to 29% of cases), and others show Staph Aureus. It depends on a number of factors including age, population being studied etc. When there is conflicting data like this, generally the boards will not ask it. Thanks so much for the info, and good luck in school!
When you say you check the PANCE blue print and take a few questions from each. What does that mean? Where are you looking at when you look at the PANCE blue print? Is it something like smarty pance that has the PANCE blue print?
prodcmsstoragesa.blob.core.windows.net/uploads/files/PANCEBlueprint.pdf This is straight from the NCCPA the ones who make the PANCE. Starting following this blueprint to plan your studying. I used to try to check off 1-2 topics each day when I was in PA school.
Scott if you ever need a kidney let me know
Hahah thanks man 😂
Took my PANCE on Monday and found out I passed this morning. Your videos were absolutely clutch. Thank you again!
