Dec. 11, 2022---Got family buried there on Dads side. Grandpa & Dad moved from New York during the Depression when grandma ran away with another man. Grandpa's brother had a farm and they lived there until WW 2 started, with both of them joining the Army. Grandpa did graves registration, while Dad was an engineer with Patton's army. Dad also did time in Korea during that war and transferred to the Air Force to become a jet engine mechanic. He retired after 20. Grandpa and his adopted brother moved to Wyoming, where both are buried. Dad ended up living in Florida, where his and his 2nd wife's ashes are at. Long journey in life for the two of them.
I got to being a truck driver and able to stop and visit their town for about 30 minutes or so. Took a lot of photos and surprised the hell out of Dad when I emailed them to him.

In a way the neglect adds to the creepy atmosphere. But it is also sad that no one is keeping it up.
