You did a great job on these!!! I found a pair of over the knee boots at kohls for only $30 on Black Friday! They are regularly only $60 too! I have seen some for around $100 too so you definitely don't have to spend $500 if you don't have a pair to remake!!!
Oh, yeah! I have ankleboot wedges laying around at my moms place, but I never wear them (that's why they're still at my mom xD), because they're just outworn. And since I don't have money for thigh high boots, this is amazing! I recently found this channel, and I love it. Great tutorials, pretty easy, and not all that off topic chitchat other channel have. I really like these. The only thing I would change is if I'm using a bootie, I would probably trim some of the top off so when you bend your ankle, you don't see the shoe popping out from under the fabric. But really nice! Hopefully that glue stays put!

Awesome. I made some thigh high boots similar to what you guys did but had mostly seen the front part of the shoes and then glued it on. It is definitely a temporary thing as I only used it for cosplay and a few outings that doesn't have me running around. I really liked the way yours turned out though as it hard for me cause I have big calves lol.

I did this with some boots that turned ugly after wearing them at burning man. ..so I covered them with a pair of gorgeous red glittery tights and wore them at Christmas! it was sooooo awesome!!
ok like this is perfect! i have massive calves so no boots ever fit them and the wide calf boots that are made are too bulky i can never find a decent pair of even knee high boots im totally doing this!
My boots have leather drawstring at the thigh end because they tend to fall when you are walking. Maybe you can add that when you are making it? Just an idea
