    I’m not a mechanic correct me if I’m wrong but was there not coolant leaking out of the intake when it was running?

      Yes, the coolant cross over hose provided in the kit actually split at the base. I didn't see it from inside the car until there was some steam. I had to cut about half an inch of the bottom of the hose re-clamp it and it was good to go

    I have a fg1 (r18a1 stock) is it worth installing this filter?

      Minor gains, without a tune but makes the engine sound much more aggressive. I like the sound and watched with an exhaust you should see some improvements
