I just found out about the 4N and it turns out I am the original owner. I owned it from 1991 to 2005 (I didn't sell it to Nuno though, I sold it to someone else on eBay). I made a video to tell the story of the guitar and share a bunch of pictures I took of it over the years. You can check that video out on my channel or just search from Nuno 4N, it'll come up. Cheers.
What a great story and thank you for making the video.... lucky for Washburn a way to reinvent the brand. I'm pretty sure I remember your listing on ebay. I have been looking at these guitars for over 30 years. Did Washburn ever send you a new one? Best wishes
Hi, can anyone give more detail on the 4N neck? The Relic and Vintage models are too skinny for my taste. Some of the N5 and N6 range are bit more beefy. If anyone can unpack that info please do🎉
This guy claims Nuno will be here tomorrow but why isn't there any videos of Nuno Bettencourt at the NAMM show for this year?????? Just like Nuno saying year after year Extreme will have a new album out by the end of the year. And yet they just continue to be a traveling jukebox/C.D.
I wonder why there is a difference on the height of those 2 Floyd Rose bridges. It should just be the adjustment of the pivot scew posts. I have a 1992 alder N4/a 2010 Swamp ash N4/A VERY RARE 2006 N6 and 2 of those N24's and all of the floating bridges are way low.
With a thinner board (and neck pitch being different), a lower Floyd makes sense. So if say, the N4 fingerboard is .200" thick and the 4N only .120" thick, there's .080" to play with to get your preferred string height set...all other aspects of the setup and guitar build being equal of course. ..

He was there on Saturday signing for 2 hours. Same last year in 2018. I was there both times. He just always shows up late and stoned lol.

Does anyone know where to find Nuno's jacket?? I need to buy it
It was a gift from Steven Tyler! Ask him lol..
