This will always be my favorite grand design house. It turned out amazing. It's the house I want to live in. Light, air, garden, the master bath, the kitchen, the vaulted ceiling, the gallery walls. Its not overdone but it feels like home. ❤❤❤❤
This is in my top 10 favourite episodes / houses. The family themselves 👌🏼 what lovely people. Doing the absolute best they can. Putting words into practice. I love how Kevin matches their calm composure too. And the house is such a home! Modest but gorgeous. I love love love it ❤
I grew up in the 1960s and for whatever reason we didn’t have allergies but I have friends and kids that have many, It’s no joke to have a sick child. I really admire the❤ parents for trying to do what I can. I hope the kids grow out of it.
Allergies were rarely heard of when I was growing up. I am no scientist or medical practitioner so deducing what is the cause of so many allergies in so many people is beyond me. Nevertheless, I try to ensure that i eat fresh food rather than processed food and whilst maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, I refuse to follow the hype (marketing) of buying disinfecting products that never existed when I was growing up. I suspect that we have gone overboard in disinfecting things with chemicals. Of course, I speak of things in the home, not hospitals, clinics and places where extra levels of disinfection are important. This home, aside from being very beautiful and innovative, really makes one think about building standards pertaining to the materials used. Here in Japan, selling homes that do not cause 'sick house syndrome' is a huge marketing ploy used by house makers. Clearly, it is a thing that needs addressing and possibly, even legislating on. The soft-furnishings and furniture too.
Yes and his brother responded with a clear 'no'. That was very cute and funny all at the same time. For me, it also brought home that other than their severe allergies, they are very normal children.
What a lovely house and so well thought out both for health of the children and the aesthetics. However Kevin at 35 minutes and 5 secs it seems that you have a very nasty bruise around your left eye, hope whatever happened to you was not too bad but it does look very painful. Hope it got better quickly.
I feel so sorry for the neighbours , inhabiting this beautiful area - to have to look at this ugly shed . When it’s sold ( if it can be sold ) , I hope that the new owners knock it down , and build a beautiful Victorian cottage .

Are allergies really an issue that’s apparent in most of Canada?
Beautiful house, beautiful couple and family.
Great house. Not overstated like many of the homes featured on this show.
This is my favorite. Modest but still very beautiful and stylish home full of art.

I would also like to add that this was not a Ego forward design, but it ended up being one of my favourites.
The Lil guy said his allergic to books 📚 😂
Rather unusual allergy 😂

😅😅
Inspiring and eye-opening ❤️
Selfless love amazing parents, fortunate kids.😊
Well done, cheers from Canada😊
Beautiful
The mirror in the bath is off center and driving me crazy :D But very nice house indeed.
Seems a bit odd that the allergy consultant's office would be carpeted doesn't it,
If I could suggest to remove shoes on the entrance to the house. The house becomes much cleaner.
its lucky they were able to get a house that already had a structure
What about school time? Other times - friends'houses, other activities?

At a guess, the kids have "leaky gut" syndrome. It requires the correct diet to fix the gut microbiome. Read "Gut Check" by Steven R Gundry.
Beautiful indeed, furniture and paintings are amazing; but terrible shame about that lovely tree.
