I attempted installing a downpipe on my st not long ago. Failed. I could not get the V-band clamp tightened around to the turbo, and the bracket on the downpipe did not fit to the bracket on the trans. I hope that this cpe and or cobb downpipe fits perfectly. I would hate to try and install another downpipe and fail.
I recently installed the Ford Performance Exhaust on my 2018 ST. Would this 3" CP-E Catted Downpipe change the sound? I like the way it sounds now. Would there be any noticeable performance improvement without a tune?
I am looking at getting the CP-e downpipe with the CP-e exhaust for my 2013 fusion titanium AWD. Can i install this without tuning the motor. I am running a steeda 93 octane tune on the car already and i have a cold air intake. I also have upgraded swaybars and strut brace. Will the car run fine until i get a new tune. Does anyone recommend a tune for this setup. I am looking for some sound and a little bit more power. The steeda tune really woke this car up.
very interesting build i wanted a titanium but went with the focus if these cars are any similar in regards to the ecu you should be fine the ecu would just adapt to it but you would get more power with another custom tune
CARB doesn’t approve shit , won’t pass the visual inspection with either one but if you use the Cated one it will be just as clean as the stock and no CELs so you have 7 or 8 years before they would do a visual
@@rollsroyceroyce7463 so you think your car is the same as mine? EACH ST is built differently.. and some make more power, we have Dynod 4 STs including mine, one had 12, one 18, mine 21 and another 23. Mustang dyno.. climate conditions matter, sea level etc.. nothing to LIE about xD
@@benst2594 Of course each ST is built different, just like any other car is. It's just going to be an argue back and forth If I continue. I apologize for accusing you of lying to people. I just have never seen gains of that much from just a downpipe. When you mention sea levels, climate, etc. I can see where it would make sense. I've just personally never seen it or heard of anything like that before.
@@rollsroyceroyce7463 Its fine, i wasnt going to come back with another statement to counter it, alot of people in US mainly are in high sea level etc, different airflow and density.. in the middle east we are minimum on MSL etc.. the Dyno runs did shock me but bearing in mind it was binded to an exhaust system, some straight some muffled like mine in which the backpressure etc helped a fair bit

YOu would want a tune to take full advantage of a downpipe. The sound will get a little louder but nothing crazy.

Wow talk about future proofing a product. This this will be good for all Focus made through 2108??? 🤷♂️🤔
How long did it take for the install?
He said ab 2 hrs at the end of the vid
I failed I put the 02 sensor in the wrong place smh
Carb approved, Does it fit 2018 focus rs?
Only the 2108 models
its not for an RS.. unless you swap the bumper for an ST lol

No ! So save your old one , put “Never Seize” on the bolts and O2 sensors !
Anyone know what the rims are?
Enkei NT03M
You guys accidentally put 2108 instead of 2018. Just pointing it out.
long live the focus st
Too bad we can’t use this down pipe in California !😢
Has anybody seen a dyno before and after catless dp
10-25 hp gains
@@benst2594 lol why lie to people, that's nowhere near how much you'll get. Max I'd say is like 5 lol
