All Alolan Forms Pokemon | All Alola Pokémon in Sun and Moon
Alolan Form (Japanese: アローラのすがた Alola Form) in Alola, known as an Alola Form in Generation VII. These forms differ from those found in the region where the Pokémon was introduced - even, in most cases so far, to the point of having a different type.
Pokémon with regional forms have uniquely adapted to habitats that are different than those where its species naturally live in other parts of the world. As such, many things may be different about them, from their appearance and way of living to even their type, moves, Abilities, base stats, height, and weight. This is analogous to a form of real-world evolution known as peripatric speciation, where a population that is isolated from the rest of the species develops unique traits and eventually evolves into a new species.
There's a total of eighteen Alolan Forms were introduced in Generation VII, all for Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

Alolan Marowak actually makes a lot of sense lore-wise: Cubone wears the skull of its dead mother to remember her. So when it evolves its obsession becomes reality. Summoning the spirit of its mother to aid it in battle.

Give Sun and Moon a try. Apart from animation and few errors here and there, it's better than most of Pokemon seasons. Screentime between Ash's Pokemon was more balanced in Sun and Moon, Lillie's backstory was much more interesting than any other pokegirl and her developement was on par with some of the best pokegirls like Dawn. The most important thing is, Ash and Pikachu didn't had their level reset like other seasons Change in animation and excessive main cast was what ruined Sun and moon from getting the top place in rankings of Pokemon anime series. Just give it a try and I am sure you will love it.

Suppose Alolan Graveler weren't a Rock Pokemon and was hypothetically made of concrete or (non-iron) metal. If Rock and Steel were out of the typing, do you guys think Alolan Graveler would make an appropriate Electric/Fighting type? It gets into fights with its fellows and has bigger, stronger arms than its Kanto form, right?
