Amazing. A December 2023 Smithsonian magazine sparked my interest in digital sculpturing. My wife and I just returned from Italy where we saw the marvelous sculptures of Michaelangelo, Bernini, et al. Your video is terrific in illuminating and explaining the future possibilities of this amazing technology. I immediately went to RUclips to drink more deeply on this subject. Thank you for the work you're doing in bringing this important technology into the art world.

Imagine cutting these gorgeous panels with a thin diamond wire: that would allow nesting quite a few panels in the same block. Then revisit the Beinecke rare book & manuscript library ;)

CMAM and CAAM stand for Casting Metal Additive Processes and Casting Metal Additive Processes respectively. I think I termed those two things but I might be wrong...

Hello Jose!!!, I hope you are well!!!
I wonder if you will allow me to use this entire video to insert into a longer video of a "Digital Stone Project: Edmonton" Residency that we will be holding in August. Of course I will give you credit and I will also not change this video in anyway. It would be great to just add images of this 2021 residency in Edmonton and still images of the final hand refining, interviews with our artists, in this iteration of the residency since we couldn't get back to Italy last year or this year.....people here need to see where it all began and this video is wonderful for the breadth and economy of doing so.
    Thanks, Roy Mills

Great video you are talking about an open source software for milling with the robot, what kind of software did you use?
    #thankyou

@@garciadelcastillo Can the software also simulate the work step? How strong is the motor on the robot
