I’ve been looking at non-Apple devices for the first time in 10+ years and Pixel is the front runner for me right now. This makes 100% sense to me. Great video.
Same I do miss the RAW power from SOC, I will use the pixel 9 fold as a test to see if ill miss the power ( i do already have some hikkups on my daily use case), and also will see what trade in would be for the fold 7. It seems it gonna be terrible so i am ' stuck' with this phone for a while.
@@thechinshorts Do you mean the crackling-like sound? It doesn’t at all. All foldables have a layer of carbon fiber beneath the display and a thin membrane covering the hinge. This sound comes from that structure.
@ well I personally purchased three pixel fold 9 pros , all of them had a particular sounds when opening and even closing. I really wanted to like it. So you don’t hear anything ? I got the z6 fold and it’s dead silent. No sounds whatsoever. I was very disappointed, I love pixel.
The reason I bought the Pixel and not another Android phone was that I wanted a clean version of Android, without too much crap. And I got that and I like that, but I also use the iPhone for the same reason; a clean operating system without too much fancy junk.
As a Pixel fan, I completely agree with you here. The simplicity and fluidity of the software is why I've decided to stick with the Pixel over Galaxy phones. I really like their approach much better. Now all Google needs to do is continue to invest in their hardware quality.
Google's marketing for the pixel has been so extreme the past few years. They're definitely gunning for that mainstream iPhone market, way more than samsung ever have. Samsung are Korean so I don't think they will ever be able to properly understand and capture the western high end market the way an American company can
The pixel is the way it should be. "Stock Android" shouldn't have all those options. If someone wants that stuff then a pixel isn't for them. That's how i feel about it.
Well done. After seeing the graph I fully understand your point about luring iPhone users over to Android. I have been a Pixel user since the very first one was released. (And a Nexus before it.) I tried a Samsung phone in between and switched back to Pixel. Very easy to understand and use without unnecessary junk that Samsung added. Currently using a Pixel 9 Pro.
For years, the Pixel has been known as the iPhone of Android. Now it looks like it is coming to fruition!! I did have the Pixel 6 Pro, I liked it but it did over heat a lot. It did over heat a lot when I had it plugged into my car to use Android Auto. About a year and a half ago, I traded it in for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. I really like Android, but I don’t see myself going back to Android. Most of my family and my wife’s family has iPhones, but the same time I want to see the Pixel succeed!! I would love to see the Pixel to have 20 to 25% of the market share here in the States!!
What I do love about Pixels is that Google lets you install a custom OS and then relock the bootloader. Want a pixel experience with more customization? Evolution-X OS (literally same pixel experience, but you can customize everything in the Evolver section of settings. You get the Pixel launcher, Google apps, Now Playing, etc). Want privacy and security? GrapheneOS. Want to make your own OS and have the skill? Go for it. Unlike Apple, you have the flexibility to root the default OS or install an entirely different OS if you want to.
@@Madeintheshade65 it offers the most customization being android, while having the most stability and UI consistency (with low bloat) with the Pixel UI/UX. You can always download a launcher and customize literally everything. But if you don't you still have a better UI and design than iOS. Best of both worlds IMO.
The software experience is the primary reason I stick with Pixel phones. What some people consider to be "features" on Samsung phones I think are mostly clutter and bloatware.
Switching from iPhone to pixels are seamless. Only thing I struggle with is voicemail migration especially if you’re swapping to a different carrier in the process. If they just had a feature to save prior voicemails to the device and transfer over would make it perfect for switching back-and-forth.
Hi Shane. I think you are on point. I have been an iPhone user since 2008 and I switched to a Pixel 9 Pro Fold and I love it. I wanted to have a foldable device and Apple does not have one. Transition was easy as I already had a Gmail account and was backing up in Google Photos. I just had to transfer contacts, calendar, apps and that was it. I think Android has evolved enough to make the switch. The only thing is that Android is not as ascetically refined as iOS but I can live with that. Anyways, I did noticed that sometimes when I make calls and hold the phone to my ear the screen flickers since Android 15 update. Has somebody reported this condition? Maybe is a bug or my phone.
This is me 100% Being a long term Samsung user and switching to my 1st Pixel device. My biggest complaint is how stripped down it is. If Samsung changes the candy bar form for the Z Fold to a more rounded edges. I could definitely switch back to Samsung.
I'm using a Pixel 9 for short term until Galaxy S25 comes out. Boy it lacks customization and features from One UI that I can't possibly do on a Pixel.
@@estiennetaylor1260 Yeah it's not everyone's cup of tea but I realized after a while I didn't need the Samsung features most of them are not used by the average user. I am a smartphone enthusiast that chooses a Pixel overall just for simplicity but with it still being Android. I sent Google feedback about the lack of home screen customization. Hopefully they work on it. After trying a Samsung flagship for a couple years and having so many issues I just said Pixel is my favourite in spite of the imperfections and I am confident that within my 7 year window of my Pixel 8 pro, things will change for the better and customization is one of them.
A few of my friends always had Pixels and I had a OnePlus 7 Pro for like 4-5 years and older OnePlus phones before that, always thought it was weird that I had more customization options than them, just thought OnePlus went heavy into customization. Your argument makes a lot of sense though, they aren't selling to other Android users they're trying to convert the bigger pool of iPhone users. I just converted to the iPhone 15 Pro a couple of months ago to try iOS again (mostly because Apple finally added USB C and RCS support). Definitely less customization on iOS but not that much less, Apple's come a long way since my old iPod touch 3g. iMessage, AirDrop, and FaceTime are pretty freaking great too and they already sold me an Apple watch, so I'm locked into this walled garden now, probably never to escape. I never thought I'd be an iPhone user but here we are. After reading a bunch of these comments I find it funny a lot of previous iPhone users are switching to Pixels and previous Android users switching to iPhones now, we must be at peak smartphone if iOS is trying to be Android and vice versa.
If Google would enable a floating window, I don't need to have three screens up at the same time. Also if they will allow us to do a two finger split in the middle so we can get the other app for the split screening functionality that would be great. I love that on the OnePlus open. Also give us the option to customize which app opens in landscape or portrait mode. I had the s23 ultra because I wanted to see what that experience would be like. The customization features were cool and fun, but I found myself using them too much. There was just too many things I could do and it became a distraction. I like the fact that Google restricts the customization only to what is necessary for random daily activities. My Google phone is easy to set up every time and once I have it set up I don't need to worry about the settings ever again. I like that. Just add a few extra customizations and I would be 100%.
I had a serious question maybe you’ll see my comment because you’re that type of RUclipsr now that the pixel three watches out and I know you have a pixel 2 watch and there is a pixel 1 watch with all the updates i’m assuming with features or pay wall blocks the Pixel 1 watch suffered from when i watched the reviews. Are there any differences in which one I should purchase I’m thinking about getting a pixel watch. Should I just get the 2 the 3 or should I just go with the budget? Pixel 1 watch is what I’m wondering if it has the same updates as the pixel 3 watch
Excellent points. Sounds like you're on to their primary focus. With that in mind pixel 10 will probably be more of the same with just deeper AI integration
The fact they finally hit double digit numbers shows their plan is working. Can’t fault a company for trying to make money. With that being said, I’m on the 3rd Pixel phone. Went from the 3XL to the 6XL to the 8pro. Love all of them
Im selling my OnePlus Open because the Pixel experience and exclusives make it impossible for me to switch to a non-pixel device. The biggest barrier is pixel voice to text which is light years better than any other Android phone because the processing is done locally instead of in the cloud.
That's a great perspective. The beauty of Android is the range of choices it offers. If you're after a phone with a ton of features, you can turn to OEMs that deliver just that. If Google's strategy aligns with this, it's a smart move. The Pixel could serve as the gateway to Android for many users, and some might eventually decide they want more. At that point, they can explore what other manufacturers have to offer. I've gone back and forth between Apple and Android, and I always end up going back to Android (I recently switched from an iPhone 15 Pro Max to a Samsung Z Fold 6). The flexibility of Android is what keeps me coming back. I hate how Apple only gives you one hardware option every September. Let's hope Google's strategy pays off and more people get to peek beyond Apple's meticulously crafted walled garden.
@@willbuschmannI’m not complaining….apple products have served me well. I may venture into the android world and test it out and possibly use both brands.
I went from the iPhone 15 pro max to s24 ultra , then the 9 pro xl and to be honest I just like simplicity things to work , and to be in the loop for fast monthly updates . I don't miss the iPhone or s24 ultra . I realized the spen and other features were just unused for me
Thanks for spending your valuable time to do a bit of research. It's not that I plan on using the open canvas style 3 apps at once all the time it just makes sense that that option would be available if I ever needed to. I assume spending 1300 to would at the very least give you the options whether we use them or not. The camera Hardware is also something that's a bit of a sticking point on pixel devices.. it's kind of like spending the same amount of money on a car as your friend but his car has lower mikes, a sunroof, turbocharger, heated seats, heated steering wheel subwoofer along with wheels and tires:-) :-) when you both pull up to show each other your new cars you're kind of like oh damn 😊 hopefully you understand if I ever rant a bot about tech it has nothing to do with you. I own an IT company and have loved technology from my very first Motorola startac phone.. just letting you know I'm 51 now and still technology is fascinating to me.. thanks again.. the phones created in the Chinese market that completely blow away all North American style phones are the ones that really bother me.. I have my fingers crossed that the OnePlus open 2 will be available in the US
Your craziness is taken for granted Shane!😅Apple is also known for security and that's what the pixel is all about - keep it simple, keep it secure. Great video and thought provoking. Thanks.
I'm a 9 pro fold user and it's rare that I use split screen, I prefer the bigger screen for media. Prefer the simpler style of pixel as well. Side note I also could careless about the thinness, if the next pixel has to be thicker to put a 10 pro camera in would be a win. This isn't 10 years ago I don't think people care about super thin phones anymore, not crazy phones but just saying.
I’m thinking of switching from iPhone to Pixel soon and the main factor for choosing Pixel over any other android is that it’s straightforward. I don’t need to customize every little thing on my phone and I don’t multitasking ever do it just makes sense to go for something more straightforward. I love iOS because it’s simple and straightforward and it’s good at what it does, however I’ve been having some hang ups with the new iOS features and I don’t care for the new phone. I just want a phone that is simple and it gets the job done without excessive bloatware that I find in Samsung. It just makes sense for me to choose a Pixel because I just need a basic android with limited bloatware.
I know why I like Pixels and Android. I want to be able to customize things, more than you can with Apple. But, I had a couple HTC phones back in the day. You could customize them, but sometimes the Sense skin made it unreliable running some apps. So, I want to be able to change settings, but not at the cost of reliability. At least for me, Pixels just work. And the cameras are great. The Pixel phones, at least to me, represent a balance between iPhone and all the other Android phones.
Good analysis, Shane. I hadn't thought of it this way before, but I think you are right. I love the Pixel 9 hardware (especially the cameras) but man do I miss Samsung software.
Even as a power android user I sometimes find other UIs so heavy and frustrating and just not necessary, I'd stick with stock Android it gives me literally anything I want and i can tweak literally anything with it
Shane, greetings from Australia, and your videos are awesome! I actually love both iOS and Android. I lean more towards iPhone purely for aesthetic reasons. Google Pixel is my Android of choice. The only reason I won’t switch permanently to the Pixel is because you can’t move the at-a-glance or Google search bar, and they don’t have stackable widgets. It’s a nitpick, I know, but I’m weird like that, lol. I know you can always install a launcher, but I like to keep my phone the way it was intended when I bought it. I know Samsung you can do those things, I just don’t like the way OneUi looks.
As a Pixel 9 Fold user and a former user of 2 different Z Folds, I have never used split screens. I have no logical reason to ever use it. The inner display for me is for media consumption and that's all.
Honestly i switched because ios was getting more and more buggy, apple limit so many features to the US only and almost nothing in ios has changed in the last 5 years
I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I am definitely switching from Apple after 10+ years. Just doing a lot of homework to see what is best for me. I've been leaning heavily at the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, (unfortunately, AT&T doesn't carry the Fold 9), as the Samsung lineup seems too busy for me. I really enjoy every video you put out. Thanks for always keeping us informed of everything!
The only time i ever use split screen is to put a quarter up top for monitor live bus arrival times. While using bottom three quarters. I like Samsung but I hate having 2 of lots of the same things even if everything syncs. People like the appleesque look of the Pixel 9. Was going to get it, but the Pixel 8a carrier deals were insanely cheap.
I think you're on to something. I also have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, leaving the power users to partners like Samsung and going after casual users is a smart way to expand the Android Market Share. But what holds true for any strategy, it can also backfire. I've noticed striped down android getting less and less love over the years as Google is less focused on incorporating ideas from OEMs into core android. This results in OEMs filling in the gaps and relying less and less on Google. OnePlus is a good example. They used to have a version of Android that looked "clean" but had a bunch of extra features without feeling like bloatware. But they relied on Google to give Android a "look and feel". But Google is so focused on giving this to Pixel that Android seems outdated. So what did OnePlus do? They went in their own direction, copying the look and feel of Apple and diverting from Android. I think Google should give sufficient resources to both the Android as well as the Pixel team. Have the Android team incorporate new features and keep it looking fresh. And have the Pixel team push those new core features to deeper settings if they fear "complexity" for their new audience. Like make 3 window multitasking a default android feature that is just turned off out of the box for Pixel users. That's the best of both worlds.
I agree 💯 . I thought about this long ago, pixels are lacking customization and features but I realized they're trying to keep it simple. It's for the Less power hungry. They're trying to keep it simple like Apple does with the iPhone. They are going after iPhones not Samsung 1plus
Switched from iPhone 13 Pro Max to a Pixel Fold. It was an easy transition. Recently, though, had to use a Z Fold 6 temporarily . . . and might have enjoyed that version of Android even more. TouchWiz has sure come a long way!
On a broader note , i think Google`s decision to stop producing their own Pixel Chromebook was a big mistake . If Google wants to seriously challenge Apple it has to look at the whole ecosystem . I know there is a lot of difference between a mac-book V Chromebook but it rounds a circle in the Pixel lineup .
i was a android user my whole life, for the last 6 months i switched from my galaxy s23 ultra to a iphone 15 pro and now since a few days i got a Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It is shocking how much better the iPhone is in visual customization since the last iOS Update compared to the Pixel ... its like Google thought it would be a good idea to copy a 5 year old iOS Version. The Fold feels like a big mistake every time i look at my homescreen ... the fucking live widget, the google search bar, cant hide the app names, cant change the app icons, and if then only 10% of them ... its just sad. before installing a other launcher i rather trade it in for a new iphone 16 pro + ipad. but what i miss the most is the faceunlock from the iphone, it just works. in the dark, in the sun, with mask, with sunglasses. on th pixel it only unlocks 3/4 to 3/5 times, and after that i still have to klick a button in banking apps ... its so anooooooooying.
I use my phone like an old man. Sure initially I switch to Samsung once in a while to play with the new stuff, but then I lose interest quickly and just use the phone as it comes out of the box.
Went from iPhone to Samsung to the Pixel 9, I don't think I could back to either. It's the smartest smartphone. Nothing wrong with iPhone and Galaxy, just love the stock android on the Pixel 9
The whole point of switching is learning a different OS imo. If I visit my friend I want my friend's house to feel different than mine. OnePlus 13 is the perfect phone for iPhone users.
As an iPhone user. I like Samsung and Dex but hate the repair experience with Samsung. I like pure android but want a Dex experience on a pixel. If that happens I’ll likely switch as I enjoy android since it seems more logical for me vs iOS.
So good updates and maintains Android. While others use those updates and add features on top. That’s why other Android devices feel like they have more.
At 9:00 you hit it for me. I always found Android too confusing, too complicated. Too many options. Personally, I do not want that. iPhone is easier to be part of. Pixel is simpler than most Android devices.
as someone who uses both I find the iPhone more complicated tbh, stuff like app settings being in the settings app rather than the app itself is extra complication for example. The notification system and notification tray on iPhone is also not as simple
@defnotatroll IMO, this is just familiarity with the OS. I use both Android and iOS Since 2017. So I'm fairly familiar with both. I often find myself saying I like the way Android did this, or how iOS does that.
Agreed, I like having the core uses of the phone done well, rather than having 573 different ways to configure something. I’m happy Google is learning as I’m hoping to try switching to a pixel again.
Samsung One I.U. is terrible. Samsung Knox plus all the duplicate apps make the phone feel cluttered. I would much rather the clean look of Android on the Pixels.
Google's strategy with trying to attract iPhone users particularly in the US where iPhones clearly dominate, is a smart one. I get that Android enthusiasts don't like the simple nature of Google's Pixel skin or launcher versus Samsung or some others that offer much more customizability and features but clearly this is by design cause Google is targeting iPhone users who want that transition out of an iPhone and onto a Pixel to be as friction free as possible and I would say it's mostly working. The 9 series especially is about as close as you can get to an Android iPhone, if such a thing was real, Google is trying to make that a reality. Google knows the pool of potential iPhone users it can potentially convert over to a Pixel is far larger than if it aimed to please existing Android enthusiasts who may choose a Samsung or any other Android OEM because Pixels lack the built-in customizing features they want. As one would say, it's nothing personal, just business lol.
I said it a few months ago and I do not think your crazy! It's working for them and the more they expand on their OS the better it will be.. like IOS it started out very slow with bugs here and there but over time they made it the power house it is today
I have been a Pixel phone user for the past 5 years or so. I also have a Samsung Tablet, and I enjoy the expanded features for customization. I am thinking about moving to the S25 Ultra when it comes out in January.
Great video. Just want to know... Who are the people that are using 3 apps on their phones at the same time? This never was and probably never will be a need of mine.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I love all android phones. It's really good that each one have different software it's important for competition. I do like Samsung software but it's too busy for smart phones screen to me it's better on tablet. I prefer pixel android to be my phone and I have been loving what OnePlus has become. It's strong 2ed
Google love having Samsung phones around and they even have it on their event shows. They know everything about the phone and what it's do. They help making. U are right they are after the other customers just like it in their ads always compete with the iPhone's in friendly way lol 😂
Day mate , probably a lot of truth in your words , and lets face it , apple has been pretty good in the marketing department in recent years in giving people the basics of what they want . In my case I was a dyed in the wool samsung boy from the galaxy note 2 , although every now and then I would buy a different brand while still keeping my beloved galaxy , just going through my phones , galaxy note 2 , galaxy note 4 , Nexus 6P , LG G5 , galaxy S8+ , Galaxy note 9 , Huawei P30 Pro , a bit of a gap , then my first ever apple device an iPhone 12 Pro Max , an iPhone 14 Pro Max , pixel 8 pro. over all the years of buying smart phones with respect of android devices , I always considered samsung as the real android leader , and to this day I still think though to a lesser extent , samsung has been the guiding influence for android , although maybe these past couple of years with the AI trend , maybe google is coming more to prominence . I might also add , as an old galaxy boy , quite a lot of galaxy old timers such as myself lost a lot of the attraction to galaxies when the the samsung division eco was changed and samsung completely changed it design and marketing philosophy , samsung used to be revered as the be all do all phones with every feature and all the accessories that also gave samsung a big hit in the value area, we saw after the galaxy note ended and samsung started taking long time features away , and all the accessories in the box to become more like apple in some ways and even become meaner in some ways too , I have never bought another galaxy since ..... I digress , its plainly obvious google is taking some of apples marketing ideas as samsung also did , for example the loss of headphone jack , accessories in the box , the change from curved edge screens to flat screens just like every apple phone , the robust looking chunky iPhone case design with latish sides ! you can see a lot of apple in both Samsung and pixel devices . I still only carry the iPhone because for me , the iPhone does get a lot of the basics right , ecosystem , I have to say , I believe apple is still the king , I now have an apple ultra watch , if I wake my laptop up , my watch unlocks it , if I wake my iPhone up , my Apple Watch unlocks it , if I get a phone call at home and my iPhone is in my bedroom on charge , the phone call comes through on my MacBook Pro , my iPad Air , my 12 pro max , my Apple Watch , and whatever one I happen to feel like taking the call on ...... I can seemlessley, I was on a country trip about 6 weeks ago , I had my pixel and 14 pro max with me , I was involved in an accident , my iPhone called emergency services with no input from me , it sent a text message to my next of kin telling them it detected an impact and my location with no input from me , I spoke with emergency services and told them I ws ok and did not need assistance , I rang my next of kin and relayed the same message , a bit of a laugh though , if the iPhone does engage emergency mode , it will keep sending emergency texts at regular time until you go into the settings and turn off emergency mode , my next of kin received about 8 texts at work after I rang to say I was ok. :) . My pixel on the other hand in same incident also detected an impact , and it just left a button the screen to call emergency services , which I have to say , I was underwhelmed with. considering if I was out cold bleeding I know which phone I want to have with me . This imo is one of the instances where IOS is just more polished in the things that actually matter . sorry I went a bit off track , yeah , it is pretty clear Apple is googles target , despite samsung being a bit more hardware focused , samsung imo for a lot of people have become a bit stagnant a bit MEH and more focused on making bucks than adding value imo , google does seem to be upping its game in hardware and software . Sorry for the long post , I get carried away sometimes :). While I still feel the iPhone for my case is more of an overall package , the pixels are getting closer to the iPhones .
It seems Google's version of Android is getting iOSified, meaning under the hood targeted improvements but... on the flip side of the coin iOS is getting... Androidified, meaning churning out new flashy features every year or straight up copying Android. I mean iOS 18.2 is blatantly copying One UI 7's charging pill on the lock screen and One UI isn't even out yet! The old Apple would have never done that. So to continue your thoughts Shane, Google is seemingly after iPhone's share, but Apple is seemingly after Samsung's (and the rest of OEMs) share...
To my eyes, Samsung phones are far more "bland." The word I often use is sterilized. They feel more like a work phone than "my" phone if that makes any sense. All comes down to what you prefer though.
Very interesting video. Samsung might be doing same thing with newer oneUi yet at the same time adding features to goodlock to keep those features alive and well? Time will tell. Btw totally think Google Android is so boring and Samsung and one plus so much better IMO
Normal everyday people do not dive into their phone settings to change 10 100 things about their phone they just use their phone Guess who figured that out Apple did so Google is doing right if you don't like Google don't like the way Google does this stuff don't buy Google but Samsung has too much crap that they do with their settings and everything it's confusing and just try to explain how to do all that complicated stuff to a normal person who buys a phone
The point of pixels is that you don't need to do all that customization that's what Samsung phones are for. Why I least l left Samsung because it was too much BLOAT!!! I prefer the stock experience even though that has faded some, still better then a galaxy full of bloat!
Compare to ios and it´s been the same for years and still boring as a dead rock. :) I do still use my 16 Pro Max as my daily Devie but my favo is 9 Pro XL and for fun my folds. But they can´t come close to my Max on Video that i use a lot. I just hope we get a little "boost" /fine tuning on the s25 Ultra so i can start use that one as my daily. :))

Switched from iphone 13 to the new pixel 9 fold. Never looking back.

Great video... explaining the Google Home Run with 9 series...power to #teampixel ! Google if you can't beat them join them at their own game!
I simply replaced Pixel Launcher with Total Launcher. That's the customization that Android has.
Pixel 6, 7 pro, 8 pro, and now 9 pro xl. I love pixels
I don't think I've taken a call without my earbuds since the update
Try updating to the November security patch, maybe that'll solve it cause in the details of the update they said bug fixes
@@ace0341 google has been implementing what One UI has, but lacks in features I use daily in One UI.
Great video and I share your opinion.
I'm still using the pixel Watch 2 quite happily. Without having tested the third generation, I can't really offer any good advice on that one.
Totally agree on speech to text.
I think the lack of use is most likely people if they are converting from iPhone. May not know how to do a split screen on the fold.
Well said , you hit the nail on the head as to what google is doing
I own an iPhone, ipads,Apple TV , Apple Watch and way too many paid for apps. It would make zero sense to switch to a pixel phone.
Apples perfect key demographic, good job.
The camera Hardware is also something that's a bit of a sticking point on pixel devices.. it's kind of like spending the same amount of money on a car as your friend but his car has lower mikes, a sunroof, turbocharger, heated seats, heated steering wheel subwoofer along with wheels and tires:-) :-) when you both pull up to show each other your new cars you're kind of like oh damn 😊
hopefully you understand if I ever rant a bot about tech it has nothing to do with you.
I love the pixel devices. I have pixel tablet, pixel watch, pixel buds pro, Pixel 6 pro and 9 pro XL
The third app for me is usually a password manager, email or authenticator for one time codes and links, calculator
Thanks!
Absolutely love Pixel OS over One UI.
I think this explains why die hard Samsung users don't fully enjoy the use of pixel
I think so too.
Great video 👍
Yeah I missed my galaxy as I could switch up the screensaver
I know the Pixel launcher is a classic but maybe they need to update the launcher like Samsung did with One UI
I need that shirt too!
Oh snap. 1st video after my RUclips update from this morning and tablet layout has changed. Whoo hoooo!
Non-Beta channel?
@scaryifliteral Yes, Non Beta
Exactly. Excellent take.
Do you think its worth trading in my fold 6 for the pixel 9 fold?
How do I get the features from Samsung on my Google pixel? I understand what the pixel is doing
Depends on the feature
Switched from iPhone 13 Pro Max to a Pixel Fold. It was an easy transition. Recently, though, had to use a Z Fold 6 temporarily . . . and might have enjoyed that version of Android even more. TouchWiz has sure come a long way!
I think we're all glad TouchWiz is dead lol
I switched from iPhone 13, to S24... And Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The Pixel is easily the best of the 3.
Can we get that hurricane wallpaper. Thanks

Where do you get your wallpepers from?
Lately I've been making them with Pixel Studio
i like simplicity so i dont want so much waste options and customization like one plus .
I switched from iphone 12 pro max to pixel 9 pro xl
This phone feels smoother than iphone
I don't agree. I like not having all the Samsung options on my pixel. If I wanted that I'd go back to my Samsung. I love the Google Pixel experience.
What are you disagreeing with then? lol
I was saying I don't agree with those two comments you read in the beginning.
So good updates and maintains Android. While others use those updates and add features on top. That’s why other Android devices feel like they have more.
Pixels get feature drops all the time
At 9:00 you hit it for me.
Perfect Video❤
I recently converted from an iPhone 11 Pro Max to a Pixel 9 Pro Xl, I have no regrets. Perhaps Android users are spoiled
Pixel is great but the fast charging of one plus is OP
As a Samsung user, I feel like the Pixel's components are outdated, which makes me lose interest in it.
If Google stays the course I will be switching to them. Google tends to put things on their phones and the next-gen is gone. that I don't like,
Day mate , probably a lot of truth in your words , and lets face it , apple has been pretty good in the marketing department in recent years in giving people the basics of what they want .
I literally switched from iphone to pixel only because i wanted a usa android company phone.😅
I agree with this assessment. Borrowing from each other a lot. Hopefully that’s still good for the consumer
Something like 20 years old same ringtones:) Oh Google, don't be like taht pls.
i switched
Pixels are pretty bland
Compared to my Samsung it feels like I'm running in safe mode😂
To my eyes, Samsung phones are far more "bland." The word I often use is sterilized. They feel more like a work phone than "my" phone if that makes any sense. All comes down to what you prefer though.
Sounds like having less freedom equals the ideal of iPhone users - it explains the current world better than politology...
That's certainly one way to put it.. lol
Sounds well put 👍🏾
You made some great points in this video.
Thanks!
