So I played this game and the best way to sum it up is. Man this was a nice little normal intro, sweet, and has a bit of a Braid feel to it. Enter's Moose Doctor... Ah there's SWERY.

this may sound a bit backwards but stay with me. lightning bolts arent actually that deadly because they dont carry a ton of amps its more of the damage you receive from the voltage, i.e. melted skin/organs that people succumb to that is if they survive the initial heart attack. that being said its fairly unrealistic for someone to burn after being hit by lightning its not that its not hot enough its just that its not a long enough ignition to start a fire in the cases of humans
That seems pretty fucking deadly to me m8. If I go around pushing people lightly off cliffs, I'm sure I'm the dangerous one for not pushing with "a ton of force" even if I'm not the direct COD
Overall its a fun game, like an easier limbo with a better story and that vibe a westaboo in love with david lynch can make, but boy people trying to be coy about the 'twist' reveal spoiled it so hard by trying not to.

Really good to see that Swery's keeping his tradition of dialogue that sounds like it was written by someone who has heard of the concept of human interaction in theory but never actually experienced it for themselves.
I don't know if I'm more happy that there is no part 1 because it'll force people to buy the game and support SWERY if they want to see more or if I'm disappointed because I'd want to see their take on the game and have it be seen by people who would otherwise never buy the game. It's just an incredible game that deserves way more attention than it has right now.

SWERY and his team did a remarkable job of handling the stuff this game gets into, and it deserves a lot of recognition for that, as well as just being a compelling story in general. It´s like Stan, the used boat-seller, from Monkey Island. He wore plaid and because of the limitation of the engine, the plaid-pattern didn´t move in the first two games. Later, Monkey Island 3+, they could have make the plaid-pattern move more realistic, but they chosed to keep that strange strange non-moving behaviour of the pattern, as an homage and a Meme.
While being burned is agonizing, I’m told that once your nerve endings have all burned away that you actually don’t feel much beyond heat and pressure on points of your body. What’s stranger to think about is that if your still left in fire, parts of your body just shut down as they char and melt away.
Seeing that concept art of JJ looking super cute made it even more heartbreaking to see her get horribly injured/mutilated. Why ya gotta do this to me, Swery? Or more particularly Matt for getting her hurt so much.
I watched this video and immediately went and bought this game. Finished it tonight, and I have to say you should consider a full LP of it sometime. Between the silly Sweryisms and the twist at the end, my emotions were all mixed up. It was a great experience.
Gonna say this now; this is next to Deadly Premonition for having the best story, but way more affecting. You'll see, especially if you get the donuts ;)

Seeing that concept art of JJ looking super cute made it even more heartbreaking to see her get horribly injured/mutilated. Why ya gotta do this to me, Swery? Or more particularly Matt for getting her hurt so much.

I watched this video and immediately went and bought this game. Finished it tonight, and I have to say you should consider a full LP of it sometime. Between the silly Sweryisms and the twist at the end, my emotions were all mixed up. It was a great experience.
Please consider doing a full playthrough of this

Not only is it possible to survive a direct lightning strike, there are people who have regained lost senses from it.
You know, they mention Out of this World, but honestly the jumping around reminds me of the original Prince of Pursa. Especially the stopping motion after running.
This game is well worth your money, people... Don't wait for a discount... Swery deserves all the praise in the world for how this game handles its subject matter...

the phoned in video outtro really sucks and there's basically no reason to put up a video if you were that disinterested. this is entirely the angry response of someone who appreciates the full context of the game's story and how it takes like a whole hour to introduce puzzle mechanics and collectibles to you before it gives you literally anything to go off of. (and those collectibles giving you bonus story)
