Yup I just finished new game pluse.
Just completed. Finishing off the remaining side quests to unlock new suit styles for Symbiote suits.
I started one as soon as I woke up so I haven't finished it yet but it's fun
u know what i kinda enjoyed about the last 2 games the fact u can listen to the JJJ and the danikast podcasts in the collections i wish we had that maybe they add that

I would love if you adressed these two issues multiple people found in the update, since Insomniac is more likely to hear you:
- symbiote takedown are completly missing from ng+, they should add them and make them common when you use venom/antivenom suit
- surge mode is bugged in ng+, let us choose surge costume

I was literally about to make a comment about this the parry to me is whatever but the take down animations bug me
Don’t know why some people assume the surge suit not activating is a bug. It’s clearly doing that because of them removing suit lock. I’m 100% confident thats not a bug that’s part of the update
wish they would let you choose to have black webs with all suits and symbiote air dashes with the black webbed suit😫

Was honestly pretty disappointed when I put on bully maguire suit and the iron arms were on no matter wat setting I turned on. That suit should’ve been considered another symbiote suit smh
One thing you missed was that if you messed around with the dev menu, you could find files pertaining to the 1st upcoming DLC. The files being related to a villain named Beetle

The only movie suit they need to fix now is the NWH Final Swing suit. They need to remove the ugly green tint it has and make the blue way brighter. In the movie it's a bright sky blue but in the game it's a dark aqua for some reason. It makes it look really bad in any time of day that isn't forecast or night

They need to fix the eyes on the MCU iron spider I really don’t like the fact on how they are always wide open and it doesn’t help that even the suit icon has the correct eyes and all the other Tom holland suits eyes are completely fine except for that one 💀

Really glad that insomniac are always listening to the community. But a lot of other people were saying that insomniac are lazy, but that’s not true. They are taking their time with these new features and the wait for them are always worth it. Plus, they got hacked so I don’t know why people are still attacking insomniac. They don’t know that insomniac games are great developers, always working hard to bring best quality in video game history. 💪💪🎮

Are they really taking their time if people were already pointing out issues with the update?
That aside, the issue isn’t that the update took so long. Everyone knows they got hacked so I don’t think anyone is at a loss as to why it released so much later. The issue people have are that there are some features that shouldn’t be in this update at all, and should have launched from day one as they did with MM - NG+, mission replay etc. You know, massive features that can extend playtime. The fact that Insomniac has gone downhill from MM suggests a drop in standards within the company, and therefore a drop in standards in their player base it seems 😂 We shouldn’t be at a point in the gaming industry where players spend £60-£70 on a new game, only to receive it half finished, with the rest of the features finally arriving months later - That is insanity, especially when you think back to even the PS2 era when you could easily buy a finished, fully-featured game for around £20. Gaming is taking a step backwards.
The updated Sam rami suit goes hard 🔥
quick psa- as of now, deleting the save file you created new game plus from will effectively wipe all the data from that file and your ng+ file (loading save file works, but the file wont ever show up in the save file select, so you can’t create another ng+ using that file)
It would be the coolest thing if insomniac added concept suits from movies, you know like the ones that didn’t make the cut for the films that would be sweet!!
Something I want to see is a secondary suit option specific to Symbiot scenes so that whenever you transform or take off the symbiot, you're wearing a different suit (the one you chose) if that makes sense... this could also work for Surge mode as well

Fuzby asked about switching the tendils parry with the spider arms, and Insomniac said they noted the feedback which is great, but I hope they also add the option to pick between them when using the traversals asweal (L1 + X and Y) AND that one finisher Peter do with the arms asweal, I'd like to switch it to the tendrils, my favorite combo for Peter is his suit from the begging of the first game, first style, and every power up being the venom symbiont 😁
I hope they add back the feature of peter's suit changing when going into surge mode, it would be really awesome if you would be able to also choose which suit you surged into.
a weather change option would be wonderful in general. I always love when spider-man is swinging through a snowy NYC
They took out some Symbiote finisher takedowns… kinda sad about it
Just so you guys know, If you wanna get all the golden gadgets and suit tech fusion or whatever its called, youre gonna have to finish the game to 100% 3 times. The first 100% is your first playthrough, then start new game plus, 100% that file, then new game plus again (on the ng+ file you already completed) and then youll be able to get all the new gadgets and everything. Don't ask how ik.
Loving the NG+ update, but my one gripe with it is that every time I die or have to reload my save file, the settings I picked don’t carry over. I always have specific settings on when playing NG+, but when I reload my save file if I encounter a glitch, or if I die, the settings go back to the settings they were on before, and I have to manually reset them every time. It’s so annoying. 🙄 I really hope they patch this soon, because I do NOT want to have to keep doing it over and over again.
Hey Caboose, I think you might be able to unlock everything in NG+ if you get the Deluxe Upgrade/Edition, unlock everything on NG and then create a NG+.
Doing that allows you to focus only on the new things in the game since there’s nothing else to unlock.
The only suit I want in the game is… The Spectacular Spider-man suit
so glad you brought up the amazing spider man eyes issue i thought i was the only one having that BUG
I just want to be able to toggle symbiote/tendrils off and on so I can use the mech arms to parry/jump/dash when playing as superior or iron spider suit etc and turn it on when I want to roam around as a symbiote spidey
Also maybe a (surge) suit slot for Peter that you select from the symbiote suits so when you use symbiote surge in NG+ it will works like it used to before
the only thing i hope they change in the future is having the black webbed suit or the sam raimi black suit is to be considered a symbiote suit….its not a big deal and maybe its just me but i would like it for it to have black webbing when u swing and have the tendrils for traversal
Has anyone else run into a glitch where during the flashback mission with Harry (trying to get the hard drive) where you split up, and the security guard looks into the room and you're supposed to go into he vent? The glitch is when the camera only looks at the guard and won't let you get into the vent. Anyone else encountered that? It's really annoying
Its not a glitch it’s actually just supposed to tell you to hold r2 and x but in ng+ they turned off tutorials but you can turn them back on in the settings

Yo is anyone else having trouble getting all of the suit tech fuisions? Like for some reason it says I dont have enough hero tokens and city tokens but I 100 % the game, and also when I first started ng+ I was already at max level, but in the main menu screen it says im at level 9 ultimate level.
I actually played it so much before the update I got ALL the symbiote suit styles when I started new game plus
They need to add an option so we can select which symbiote suit we can have on because in the scene where Pete gets the symbiote I had the advanced suit on and the suit didn’t change it looked really dumb same with surge mode

Has anyone noticed an issue with this update where when playing on a PS5 Slim at least in my experience, that the fan is louder than usual? I swear that before this update my PS5 was not as loud and this is a new console that I got very recently so no dust. Also my console is not in a cramped space at all. It only does it with this game. I tried every other PS5 game I own and none of them kick up the fan like that. I don’t know if this is a personal issue or what but I noticed that it’s been louder since this most recent update.

The only problem with ng+ is when you 100% it you still wont be able to afford all suit tech merges and all gadget colors which is crazy to me because they didn’t give us enough city tokens
Having the "Across the Spiderverse" Miguel suit in the game would be amazing.
I appreciate insomniac’s decision to add more than just ng+ and add the ultimate levels
It’d be awesome to go into the symbiote surge and be able to pick a specific suit for that mode.
something else we need is a podcast collection. It was in the last 2 games but not this one. Idk about you but i love listening to the podcasts from both jjj and danicast, but if you end it short, theres no way to listen to it again unless you restart the game.
i also wish they brought back selfie mode for photo mode. i had a blast in the first two games taking goofy selfies but we cant do that in this game.

With Peter’s new Hellfire Gala suit, you’ll see the mask do weird white texture things when it gets further away. Is that intentional? It looks really weird while swinging
I'm glad to hear they might allow us to change the parry animation. Honestly, the only things left I want is: Weather, New iron arms for the hybrid suit and anti-ock suit and an option to have symbiote or iron arms while doing dash and jump boosts in air.. maybe it's asking for a lot considering their latest layoffs but I can dream!!
Only thing I’m bummed about tho is that with the update although u can set basically any suit for symbiote surge i don’t think u can jus leave it where it jus auto changes the suit it was basically like switching between the red n black in game so kinda sucks that’s gone unless anyone knows of a option where u can switch it to normal.
I love the update I just wish the black webbed suit (Venom Rami Suit) registered as a venom suit so when I swing or air boost it used the tendrils vs the normal webs and spider arms.
where can I post the bug that I found? when i played ng+, my surge mode not changing to the symbiote suit, instead it still with the red and blue suit. I wonder is it just me, or is it truly a bug. maybe u guys can help

I found really cool Easter egg. If you go into photo mode and zoom into Peter’s “Levi’s” tag it reads 1984. That’s the year spider man dawned the venom suit.
Hey @Caboose, you have a lot of pull: can you petition or acknowledge that the webbed black suit be considered as a “symbiote suit”? It doesn’t have the black webs, etc.
Anyone know when you'll get the iron arms in new game plus because I'm 20 to 30 enemy takedowns with the iron arms short for the trophy
Now they should give us suit styles for the movie suits
They also need to bring back some of the suits that were from the first game and miles morales game that weren’t brought back
Ive unlocked 3 suits and im half way thru the story and still havent been able too change the time of day 😅😅
Not only would I want the option to switch my animations for Pete’s parrying, but also the ability to switch his ((Spider-Jump)(Spider-Dash)) animations while traversing The Big Apple. From the Spider Arms to the Symbiote Tendrils with the color of your choosing and also with (Surge Mode) activation animation I want to be able to decide if I want to keep my chosen costume when I activate (Surge Mode) or switch to any suit that has symbiote embedded on it with the style we chose for that specific symbiote suit upon activation and upon deactivation we revert back to our original suit we want. Think of it as a temporary secondary suit option exclusive for Peter when surge mode is active with symbiote embedded suits only with again the color style i want. Might be much to ask but I’m optimistic and believe they’re more than capable and if they can deliver that would be AMAZING!💯😍😩

But yeah overall I’m happy with what Insomniac has delivered to us fans. It’s truly a masterpiece at least in my opinion. Do I think they can touch up on it further in future updates? Absolutely. Everything and everyone has space for improvements, always. Just like we aren’t perfect, neither are games and the folks behind it’s development . So I just learned to appreciate what we get and thus appreciating the work they put in to get us to enjoy the experience keeping in mind that beggars can’t be choosers‼️🫡 Love yah tho. Bless up🙏🏼
So can anybody tell me if there’s a way to fix parries cause I’ve started my new game plus Play through and all of my parries are the Symbiote tendrils even though it's set to story
Anyone else getting a bunch of bugs after the update?? Like I mean a ton of them. Bugs that won’t let me progress missions or npcs frozen. Like I had one that had a whole building missing for one of the story missions and I couldn’t do anything about it.
It would be cool to be able to set a symbiot suit for surge or symbiote sceness, like using the rami suit into the black rami
Wasn’t the colors mostly on the Raimi suit. It was how thick the webbing on the suit looked and the shine on it also made it very distracting from the red and blue.

Dude this is my go to suit I never wear any other one so when I first got on it was noticeable instantly
I hope they add a suit change feature like the tendrils or the photo mode suit change , so we can change suits during cutscenes
I just wanted to be able to change the paws for the symbiote when using the dash when using web
The only thing I am curious about is will there be an update where you are using the rami suit and when you activate the venom suit would it change into the black rami suit when the venom special is activated? Then when it’s over it changes back to the normal rami suit?
They gotta give the black raimi suit the symbiote dash and airjump or just let you choose if you want the arms or sumbiote
I hope they do make an update that you could have the option I have different types of surge suits so that for an example you could have the Sam Raimi Sue and when you go onto surge mode it can be the black Sam Raimi suit could be an idea and basically you can have multiple options for the surge suit
One thing you missed!! all the Miles Symbiote suits have the animated alien look that Peter’s have now!!
I felt like the webbed suit silver was a little too open and just out there. As for the Homecoming suit I thought it was okie 😅
I would like to see more suits from the first game or comics come in I know they want to keep it to where miles and Peter have the same amount

I would say they do another update if they could add more city tokens so you can finish getting the other upgrades in new game plus you can only get like a handful and not all of them.
Hey Caboose, not sure if your aware of this but when the new game plus update first launched there was a secret menu in the start screen that showed a beetle dlc that is coming to spider man 2 soon. I noticed you haven’t said anything about it so I just wanted to let you know incase you were unaware
After update my spiderman has square floating bubbles when he uses his webs
I had all my saves deleted because of the update and I have to replay everything like I have no saves I tried everything but I gave up and started from the beginning
I hope insomniac will "fix" the transformation or make an update so we can choose which symbiote suit we wanna play with when we activate the ultimate. It will be sick like in a basic save (if you know what I mean)
I had a breeze with the ultimate levels at least for the symbiote suit styles cause I had all of them from the start
I had to actually check tto make sure I was on the Ultimare level cause this shits a cakewalk..note you'll still get destroyed if you're not on your shit
Also note that they updated the challenge Under Construction and added 10 seconds to the time so it’s actually doable now. It was the only Mysterio challenge that gave me problems.
The iron spider armour suit got a change as well before the spider arms were silver and now there the spider arms are gold 😮💨🔥
Long shot, but does anyone have this yellow floating square thing that happens when you shoot your webs in battle? I think it’s from the bee missions but it’s still going just in combat for me.

The shoe soles of TASM 2 suit were changed to red. They need to fix that back to grey

My game doesn’t show the time of day option don’t know why I can change the tendrils but not time of day.
My one complaint is that the Webbed Black Suit doesn't count as a symbiote suit such as the black suit and the classic suit

on the tasm2 suit, the boots on the bottom are red instead of black
