oho a basara video!, always loved Masamune's Combo play in these games, the first time I got into the series was the spin off Sengoku Basara X (Cross) when i played it by in my high school days
Really wish DW/SW had a bit more individuality when it comes to special attacks, like Basara. Simply put: you never have to worry about Basara cloning characters due to the individual Basara attacks.
I'd say Samurai Warriors had a better record when it comes to individuality of characters, that is until Samurai Warriors 5. Samurai Warriors didn't have clone issues in SW1 to SW4. The first Sengoku Basara had two cloned characters Matsu and Kasuga, which they were decloned by the next game.
@@menorasendaiba6404 Honestly, Koei Musou games aren't always weapon based. Koei started to do weapon based since Dynasty Warriors 7 with the introduction of weapon swapping system. Samurai Warriors specifically was never a weapon based musou game. I think Samurai Warriors showed better combat and individuality compare to Dynasty Warriors. They never had clone issues, until Samurai Warriors 5, which is weird considering the game has a smaller roster
Thank you again profar for another basara video. The only fault Basara 1 has are the stages. I love the stages but after a while it starts to get repetitive since the selection is kinda low and they are so linear. Glady they made it better in 2 but the conquest mode still needed some improvements. Cant wait when you touch the next installment ! Great video mate
Great video explaining the mechanics at the time with a fair comparison, I do agree the co-op should have been there from the start but like any other capcom game at the time it was a very risky new IP to release, maybe that was influenced or not properly introduced, good job profar 👏 something I wanna point out, when the Date masamune theme plays it's sound like WAYTODANK. idk if you crank the volume all the way to max. But at least on my phone, my reaction was "oh crab 🙉 " 🤣 Maybe is bcs of your voice is soo clear and you use a proper tone it caught me off guard when that happened. Maybe is a me thing. 🫡
