Just found your page. I’ll be watching as many as possible as quick as possible. I’m 43, married with a 13 year old son and I struggle greatly with negativity, anger, pessimism etc, and it’s starting to really affect my marriage and relationship with my son. Not to mention all the friendships I’ve already lost. I hate it, but can’t turn it off. Yes, I’ve had some really bad shit happen to me in my life, but my current life is going fairly well, but I cannot kick my instant anger, and 24/7 negative feeling and attitude. HELP!
Indeed, this was a damn good video. It seems anytime I watch Rob’s videos I learn so many beneficial things. Most importantly, he doesn’t sugar cost anything. Rob knows life is suffering, from there you can only up.❤
Thank you for the help an advice. I did not realize my brain does this negative tendency. I always see the bad in a situation instead of a potential good. I will apply you advice immediately to my life.
Thanks Rob 🥰 Can you think about doing one on being your own cheerleader? Catching ANT’s and using CBT etc the importance of a programmed positive mindset x
This video made me come to realize that I may have a strong negativity bias. Over my life, I've let minor things of the past bring me to where I am just a heald back downer. My brain translates everything I would think is negative in an equal way or almost equally, even though some of those negative things hold more weight. My negativity bias is strong and it has provoked me to act in ways that I shouldn't have. I do not know what it will take to overcome my negativity bias.
I have a question. Recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and it's really hit me hard. Especially the negative part of it. How can I become more positive with the Parkinson's diagnosis? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
My Dad has it. The positive thing for him is he’s met loads of really interesting people who are going through the same thing. He’s also joined lots of different groups and done things he wouldn’t have if he didn’t have it. TBH he’s really enjoying life with it. It’s not perfect, but he’s making the most out of it. Hope you find the positives my friend ❤
the research points out something different. You recall more negative events because.. a) they are the exception, b) you have leaned to stay away from negative/danger. -) you actually have a lot less negative events specially in your comfort zone... (not that you’re wired)
My negativity ruins everything, then i only remember the positive. To ensure maximum suffering for my piece of crap terrible self that should just blow my brains out so I dont corrupt any one else. I am the worse person ever even though i know i should be good.
