It's easy to recognize what a genuine and caring individual he was, one he knew no prejudice. I think he could easily be misjudged by his lifestyle and music, but it generally doesn't happen.
He's written a number of scathing songs on the subject of religion, as well as the lack of human compassion. "No Voices in the Sky" is a wonderful example.

You need to keep in mind that they think the first man was made from dirt and that everything to ever exist was made in 6 days and has plants predate the Sun. Anybody who thinks that way isn't going to have the mental capabilities to understand basic concepts.

Empty. I started to look at it as what it was. That sense of peace and belonging that I once felt there was gone, and all I felt was anger and frustration because I had sacrificed so much, so many things. I was in the Catholic mental prison for the first twenty years of my life.
Now I get to enjoy poking holes in Catholic Dogma.

If atheists are required to read philosophy, history, theology and metaphysics to justify their unbelief, then I'd like to apply that standard to believers as well. No one allowed into any place of worship without proof of scholarship!

No I'd like to have a live open discussion with Aron, but I don't think we'd get too far because I don't put up with atheist duplicitous BS and I know every ridiculous argument they've raised and the answer to it.

@@mtbee9641 The first and biggest one I've encountered with atheists is their statement "We don't have to prove anything" Even though they have clearly asserted the proposition "there is no God" they say, "We don't have to prove that. All the burden of proof is on you". Additionally atheism like any other new idea [like cold fusion] bears the burden of proof, which they know they can't meet, so they desperately try to shift it in to theists. And before you get started, I can prove God exists, which I'll be happen to walk through after you've admitted atheism can't meet it's burden of proof and is just your unsupported opinion, of no more value than anybody's else's opinion.

After a lifetime of denial, even during a catholic upbringing it took decades before I could admit, I don't believe in the bible. I know it's a copout to ultimately denying God himself. You are a life preserver for myself, I honestly feel that way and I'm not the only person. I don't feel ashamed or afraid for being an atheist. Thank you!
