That Skoda shouldn't start so badly.
I think something was faulty in the ECU. A broken temperature sensor perhaps as the engine clearly didn't get enough fuel in the cold start. Like cold starting an old engine with carburettor and no choke.

That Volvo had a good accu, fuel level very low, Just trying to start on petrol fumes, so fuel pump wouldn't be doing any good. Those Ford Fairlane 6 Volts starters will take a boosts with 12 Volts no problem.

The TB45E engine of my Nissan Safari starts easily in any cold weather within 2-3 seconds. Today's morning it was minus 23 Celsius but engine had successfully started without problems.

There is something wrong with the Škoda. A lot of my friends have even older skodas and they start like it is nothing in -20 or lower temp

The orange Camaro has a modern replacement engine. I can tell from the sound it makes when cranking. Not how they sounded when new.

That's my video, it has an Engine Factory 350 crate engine built about 15 years ago. I believe it was built to around 430hp with a high torque starter. If you check out my other cold start videos I have an Impala that has the factory starter on a mildly refreshed original engine. Totally different sound.

@michalele911 Are you sure? That looked like 110 series that has fuel injection. Or maybe only export models were injected...
It's not injected you can see he was playing with the choke as well
Its a carbureted 2108. Also the 110, known better as 2110 in Russia also had carbureted versions
