I love how Diana was just like, messing around with everyone else because it’s funny and she knows they’d eventually relax but when she was with Alexandria, she understood she was scared and I love it.
She recognized the difference between nervousness and a legit fear. That was really sweet
why isnt anyone talking about how Diana's love for these animals really felt genuine?? she warns everyone to handle them with care and that these animals wont hurt them. its just so amazing to see how a person can love these exotic animals the same way most people love their dogs or cats🥰

@@erikaphillips4403 but also did you notice how she helped Alexandria because she knew about her fear, I think she just wants people to understand that the bugs are really harmless and people should be more gentle with them.
The only thing that could have made this better, is Eugene.
Not because I'm a fanboy, but because I just imagine Bug Ladys energy resonate with the Asian of Chaos. It would have been beautiful.
But. The video was amazing anyways. The respectfulness towards phobias, the playfulness otherwise. And just the way she drops knowledge.

I was thinking that too! I'm so happy that Eugene has the freedom to take a step back to work on other creative endeavors, especially after seeing the doc, but I do really miss seeing him!! especially in videos like this, I feel like he would have thrived here!

Honestly, the way Diana handled her fear deserves mad respect. She didn't shame her or force her to do anything. She explained and demonstrated what they were going to do and why. Most people just think forcing someone to aggressively face a psychological fear actually works.

Yea, I remember my grandpa thinking it was a good idea to bring me over to a neighbors backyard which had a bees nest in it. He thought it’d help me get over my irrational fear but it just made me cry.
Yeah, I was really scared at first that they were going to like trick her into going into a room of butterflies and make fun of her for being scared and it was just going to make it worse but they were very respectful and gentle so that made me happy
I love how she was so patient with Alexandria because she could tell she was actually scared, then went off the rails with everyone else.

@@hridyanadappattel4400 I didnt like her energy either, it was too over the top for me, like she uses that hypersexual seductive behavior and heavy make up to hide something. I am a firm believer that we live in a hypersexualized society and we continue to do so with shows in netflix and movies and hook up culture etc. Of course I dont know her and it's all an act, but its scary to think that this is what people aspire to be in the future.

I’m with everyone else who teared up when Alexandria held the butterflies. And Diana went from this sweet lady in the creepiest way possible messing with the staff while educating to the sweetest, most calming and caring person with Alexandria. It’s as if her education with the rest of the staff was to creep them out and her educating Alex was to reassure her

@@jinlei2739 it's a phobia, it's not rational. I have a phobia of moths. I've owned pet snakes, kept bug collections, catch spiders with my bare hands and take them outside, but if a moth flies near me I freak out and hide in the shadows. I'll break down into tears and curl up into myself if I can't get away from one. There's no rational reason why. I know it can't hurt me, and I find some very beautiful and all interesting, but they terrify me.
Funniest part is I'm not afraid of butterflies, only moths.

@plsloveme • 29 yr ago ik, that's why I said hindsight 20/20 as in, once you know something about a situation, and you look back on it, it feels sort of obvious because you actually notice stuff you didn't notice. Hindsight is the clearest vision in a way. Knowing about what happened, and rewatching this, it feels really obvious now.

This entire video was a trip. The quotes, the bugs, the uncomfortable laughter, the bug lady, the facing of the fears, the random ad break in the middle, Sam having the “unwell” shirt but somehow being the most chill….it all happened so fast. Not the content I was expecting today but glad it happened.

When the rumors started, the first person that came to mind was Alex. This was the video that I remembered thinking about how nice Ned was to Alex, but not in a malicious way. There is another video, I don't remember which one, that came out a few months ago (it was one where they are in the kitchen) that I remember telling my mom there was a vibe between Ned and Alex because he was so soft spoken to her. But it is still unbeliveable and I still hope that it was a spur of the moment thing and not somethng that's been going on for months behind everone's backs.
The fact that Ned himself said "consensual *relationship*" in his confession post suggests it wasn't a one-time fling, unfortunately.

Diana was so sweet with Alexandria. I was worried she would be sarcastic and jokey like she was with the rest of the crew, but she was actually really understanding and sweet
With her goal of removing the stigma and fear around bugs it complete makes sense. She knew that Alexandria was legit petrified and that she was dealing with a true phobia.

I love the way Diana's energy changed completely for Alexandria. I thought she was a bit pushy at first but I can see she does respect the people and bugs in her care and definitely knows how to have fun
So proud of all of them, as a person who is slowly trying to get over her fear of bugs (especially spiders)! I work with kids at a summer camp, and I always try to tell them to move slowly and don't scream because bugs (most of them) really won't hurt you unless they feel threatened and/or unsafe. I recently got to hold a honey bee for the first time and learn more about them as a species, and it was lowkey life-changing for me. Good on Ned and Diana for being patient with Alexandra and giving her a choice to opt-out. Also, I can relate to Alexandria and her fear of butterflies. I like looking at them from afar, but if they fly close to me, I start to panic. I like to blame it on that one episode of Spongebob lol...

I’m really glad the bug lady made sure the try guys didn’t just get to scare their employees and laugh at them (if they had had bad intentions from the start, I know they’re nicer than that), it was a pretty even-handed experience.

As everyone has already said, I'm really happy to see how they handled the butterflies and Alexandria's phobia. It's such a hard thing to face and I want to thank Alexandria for also allowing us to see it because I could totally understand if she wanted to do it, but not on camera. Everyone in this video was awesome. Spiders and butterflies are actually two of my favorite creatures, so this was a fascinating video to watch because you never know how people might react to them.
I'm terrified of cockroaches. I've had to face the fear before, but it always leaves me drained and exhausted afterwards. It was amazing to see Alexandria face her fear in a controlled environment. I love how chill and into it Sam was, the least phased by the bugs. Like I wouldn't be surprised if we find out he's been cultivating bug farms after this lol I love them for bringing awareness to and how to care for our ecosystem through biodiversity and keeping them alive by eliminating that fear. I hope they bring her back and do videos with the rest of the Try Fam
honestly i love how she fully walked everyone through how they're safe and didn't force them when they seemed uncomfortable and very gently and kindly handled showing alex the butterflies and just... this is good way to handle fear
