The cave art almost looks like it's depicting a ship shelling the island. I can't say I see any imagery in the other observations you made in this video. Thanks Mike, cool to see you're doing some fun work here, always wondered what happened to you after you left ThePoint 😎 - you were one of the most enjoyable DJ's on there

Wonderful video, thank you! I love how you take your time with each scene; this makes it so much easier to take in as much of it as a video will allow. I'm also a Vermonter, btw, and really appreciate these great local stories. Cheers!

Very cool chamber/pothole. The draining of the glacial lake in Northern New England has left us with some very cool features. Always amazes me just how young the landscape around here is

I'm seeing primitive markings too. I noticed the ring chain and v shaped grooves, right away. I thought a few places were rounded Indentations, we're carved out too. I know they worked with what was there. I see the fish too. When I am in places like this, I get a feeling like no other. I can see what was there. Cool video. Thank you ☺️

Fantastic presentation. I have found that cave paintings are on top of the original carvings. There’s a complicated multi faceted style of art that we are teaching each other. Citizens from all over the country are discovering ancient sites. It’s a renaissance so to speak. You can find out the history of the people that lived with mammoths yourself. Good luck.

the "fan shape" with "boxy tail" resembles a turtle if the "tail" is the head, with an open jaw agape and neck extended, the hemispherical "fan shape" being the turtles shell. Turtle effigies are not uncommon in New England. I've seen several.

I don’t see what you’re seeing, but it’s not a stretch to say the cave may have been occupied by natives at some point.thank you for the video. I have visited many natural and man made ancient places. I’m always disappointed by the trash and graffiti left by previous visitors.😢

It is not a good idea that you shared this if it is a site. There is a reason that few people know where the petroglyphs are in Brattleboro. However, it is a compelling idea that this could have been a site. We do know of similar sites that are confirmed in the state. If you pause at about 2:55, it looks like the left half of a thunderbird figure is on the right side of the entrance. That is about the same height as the entrance. However, it is hard to tell any possible glyphs without seeing them in person. Have you reported this to the state archeologist or discussed this with professors at UVM?

I did contact the state archaeologist, and he didn't think this was anything but natural work.

They're not petroglyphs; it's a melted building. You can see the evidence literally everywhere in there. From the bubbled out stonework to the overwhelming amount of right angles and straight lines running across and down the cave. It used to be an archway entrance of some kind probably.

Timestamp 17:35 -- Having trouble visualizing the fish, but on the far right edge of the bluff I can see what appears to be the face from the Shroud of Turin. It's interesting how people have different perspectives.

I have been in the ATM cave in Belize. The entrance is eerily similar to this entrance. Neither look organically create to me.
Also there is a large cave near the top of Mount Mansfield that might be of interest to you. I believe it also had significant meaning to ancient people.

Not so. I’m in Ri and we have documented petroglyphs that are just laying on the beach washing away, and at times walking away. It’s sad no one seems to care.

@@ChristianNeville-xd8bmI know exactly what stones you are talking about. There was one just off the shore that at low tide you could see the ancient markings on it. And was discovered by divers or snorkeling people. And one day the rock was gone. Someone with a boat and a hoist or some sort of device came and took it. Just amazing. I can’t remember the outcome of that but that rock had ancient Templar markings or some other pre Columbus visitors. A shame. And the Vermont comment is sarcasm. Vermonters “mostly” don’t like flat landers(non Vermonters). But they rely on people from all over for their money. But whatever.
