My grandparent's place has some stone walls up in the woods on their property.
Both my father and I have found old embossed glass medicine bottles near the wall dating to the early 1900s, and my grandfather has a sizeable collection of Native American arrowheads that he found while he was digging the hole for the basement while working to build the house back in the 1960s. He made a very fancy felt lined "shadowbox" type case for them and cleaned them up beautifully. They now reside on display on a shelf in their bedroom.

I came across a stone chamber in Orwell. The people who own the property and live in a nearby house said it was a crypt for storing bodies in the winter. If interested I could send a google maps screenshot of the location.

Interesting, Thank You, I graduated from one of these two schools and recieved a grade A in geology, we actually went out of the classroom and made maps of stones and timber of this very same area. It may be easier to metal detect and discover gold fossilized seashells with translucent stones of octopuses inside the gold seashell that triggered and sounded off my metal detector. Good luck with your quests.

This reminds me of Blackhand Gorge State Nature Preserve how they destoried the black hand petroglyph. When I was there the whole area had been quarried.

I’d love to see a video on monument mountain in great Barrington Ma. I heard there was a sacred rock alter that early Protestant pastors demolished. I’ve been searching and searching for more information.

The theory is plausible but if the site was a quary the slabs of stone could be explained by that because it's better to get large slabs so they can be shaped into a wider variety of small pieces or used as slabs

Sounds reasonable. They tried to destroy all traces. Whether or not they used the stones for their own construction, this was job one!

I'm releasing an updated video on Arms Park including this Quarry in the next day or so. There's more to see here!

I'll bet the preacher thought, (hey free); [massive precut, stone blocks], {I will just haul them down from this Megolithic Structure}; & who will be the wiser? The Railroads that run through those Mountains destroyed many a Ancient Pyramid. Evidence of using these; (perfect Mega blocks); to build their bridges, & culverts.😰
