Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

How to do Impressions - An audience lead tutorial series where I attempt to pass on my Impressions knowledge.
Dubs - Comedic dubs of iconic scenes with new dialogue, (My Peaky Blinders and Lord of The Rings dubs have grossed over 6 million views on Facebook)

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on RUclips videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time RUclipsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of RUclips, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

Dude… Whoever came up with this idea is brilliant… Three of the main characters just sitting on a couch, watching Star Wars shows. Qui Gon just sitting there eating is the best part.
ooHH god imagine Disney came up with this idea. And were brave enough to execute it. I can't imagine how incredible bad and not funny it would be. This on the other hand is great comedy!
Him eating is more entertaining than most Star Wars content that Disney has put out in years.

It is obviously Obi Wans show, but Charlie's version of Qui Gon is my favorite. Retarded Anakin is brilliant too, they cooked him too long in the bacta tank 🤣🤣🤣. The writing is brilliant, Charlie is a genius.
I feel like the most expensive part of this production is the food qui-gonn eats😂

I mean, Qui Gon also didn't immediately die from being stabbed either? He layed on the ground for like a solid 20 minutes and then Obi-Wan picked him up.
@@findvolume20 minutes seems overblown, id say 10 at most. and with qui gon it was kinda accepted that the second he was stabbed he was done for
@lukecodz in our time it's like 5 minutes, in movite time nah its like 20 minutes. The Gungans were captured and surrounded, Padme was taken to Gunray and with aggressive negotiations she discussed a new treaty, Obi Wan stared Maul down, fought him and was knocked into the pit, Anakin got stuck in the Confederate ship, then fixed his ship and blew up the Confederate ship and escaped, then the Gungans were freed due to it being destroyed. And THEN Obi Wan got up and went and talked to Qui Gon after he was already stabbed and laying on the ground this whole time.
Sabine was stabbed and Ahsoka saved her in no time. But somehow, everyone is upset she survived? 😂

Spot on! The underlying gambling is hilarious. little bits like that add depth to the character...it's all done real organically and genuinely, so you can totally see that potentially being an actual trait of his!

Now that I think about...technically Anakin became a Jedi master when the last member of the jedi counsil died, being left as the last one and because technically never renounced the title.
Is more like a legal vacuum but Annakin may be practically a master by default.
Slaughtering the kids probably would have gotten him punted from the order by default. If not actually murdered by the remaining Jedi Council had Order 66 not been executed. 🙃

I can't believe these videos made me want to read more about Qui and Obi, and Obi and Ani as jedi master and apprentice/padawan. I am currently going through Master and Apprentice by Claudia Gray and so far Charlie's portrayal of these characters fit so well (Qui as more flexible/understanding and giving words of affirmation to Ani while Obi is more critical and sassy😂😂) I crack up whenever I think of these videos😂😂😂 I'm so grateful I live in a world where these reaction video exists.
