Wesker merged with Uroboros just because his Matrix superhuman abilities isn’t doing him any favours against a double team only to shortly die with one rocket beheading him while the second one landed him on impact to create a huge explosion with the surrounding lava.

I mean Wesker probably should've dismembered and cremated the guy, considering what James Marcus came back from. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up pulling the strings behind all of the stuff in 6, 7 and 8.

Remember this is a man who was way ahead of his time - who knows what are other secrets he buried that is yet to be discovered. If re 9 is to be the last entry to the series, then there’s a missed opportunity of taking series back in the past set in the early 60s preferably because frankly there are far too many games that is set in the relevant time era.

I wanted to see more of the founders of Umbrella. Well, Marcus was the antagonist in RE 0 and he's the one responsible for RE 1. It was Spencers damn mansion and Edward died 30 years before the franchise even began :( Now Wesker is dead and there's no antagonists left?
nah, marcus is also indirectly responsible for umbrella downfall for causing the events of the original game, alongside the prequel, so his revenge on umbrella got fulfilled in the end
Edward Ashford is the only good guy within Umbrella unlike James Marcus and Ozwell E. Spencer. According to the files in Code Veronica, he wanted to use Umbrella for good intentions, not using viruses to make BOWs. His accidental death might not be true. He probably got set up by Spencer and had him kill.
