If you’re going to be doing some professional level offroading that raptor is a nice base line. However, if you are going to do some light offroading and or mostly pavement a 5.0 4x4 with 2k in suspension upgrades, proper tires (33-35in) and a good skid plate set would make more sense.
Instead of just lifting it, a better comparison would be buying a 5.0 XLT and adding OEM raptor suspension and leather if you want it. Then ask if it’s 25k better.
Jason Camissa's review of the Bronco Raptor really changed my mind about the Raptor lineup. Even in an urban environment (where most of these admittedly live their lives much of the time), Raptors are still fantastic if you want a fun and exuberant hoon-mobile.
Wouldn't a recalibration of the adaptive cruise make the blue cruise work on a lifted truck? If not, lifting would basically make Blue cruise non-functional, correct?
And for the record, I do jump my raptor lol I live in the desert. It’s the only thing we can do out here😂 and yes, it was $90,000 but with that $90,000 it’s made to jump also the bumper-to-bumper warranty help.
Supercharged F150 5.0, and you'll still be in for less vs. Raptor. Throw in some fancy upgraded coilovers, and you guessed it... you're still in it for less.
To me a Raptor retains a special place due to it's five link rear suspension. Combined with front geometry changes, and it's not easy for a standard F-150 to achieve the same level of performance in that regard.
Well..... if your a tech and lighting nerd like me I'll definitely pay more for the LED DRLs, and everything else that makes the Raptor.....a Raptor! Good video! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
This guy is comparing his TC custom spacer lift xlt f150 to a Raptor?? C’mon man, you’ve gone too far. Resale value alone will prove that you are way out of line on this one. Mitchell, I’d really wish you’d go back to your roots on this channel…
It looks nice if you have "NO VISION" and don't mind looking like thousands of other Raptors. It's ALWAYS better when you customize your truck instead of being lazy and letting the factory do it that produces hundreds of thousands Ford Raptors.
Depends on the OEM parts.. or the quality of them.. not namin brands but the frankincense and mur used for the upgraded model of a two seater sport cars leather and carpets i want the Truck to do truck things and think its a Goat a fast one so the only limits are a tree when the gas is out of the shil saw. and the paths not as wide as the truck
Let me answer answer this question for you. I had a 2023 F150 platinum and now I have a 2023 Ford raptor 37 package in hell yes it was worth the extra money.
I would just skip the “lift kit” and get some nice coil overs with a little preload and run 33’s on the F150. IF YOU CANT SWING THE RAPTOR, otherwise Raptor is king. Just don’t go putting a lift kit on a Raptor or you will get laughed at.
25K more? Raptors in canada are 45K more than a 303 xlt 5.0 loaded with leather and BAP. Purchased mine for 74K @ 0% / 72 months, the cheapest base model raptor in alberta is 116K at 4.49% / 72 months... Which is an EXTRA 17K of interest on top of the already overpriced truck . Toss on suspension, torsion front diff upgrade and send it.

Pepperidge, farm remembers when you could buy these trucks five years ago for a mere sixty five k
Yes it is 25k better. Especially on Birmingham roads. Love my Raptor!
It also holds value

I have always loved the wide body of the Raptor from the factory. That alone is a 👍🏼 for the Raptor.
You can also add a v8 to your he raptor and make it a raptor r
I just bought almost the exact same f150 xlt. It’s nice to see what I can possibly do to it.
Great video! Do you have any insights on how Ford is going to answer to the RHO?

Give me a quality leveling kit on 33x12.5’s and I’m good.
My Roush supercharged 5.0 is the move....traded in Raptor for it, no regrets
Now do resale...
Don’t even have to watch the vid. YES, the Raptor is worth it!

Booyah 👊🏽 😁 👍🏽 🇺🇸
Thanks Mitch

When you go to sell, the Raptor will still command higher sell price. So from a lifecycle standpoint, Raptor for me.
well the base raptor is only 2k more than a tremor.
Yeah, but you'll never see it sold for that price. 😅😅

Overcharging for a POS spacer lift and colored deploying steps do not make a Raptor, but if you're looking to hit Bro-dozer status, have at it.
Made it until 2:43 to find out he is 6’3”. 😂
Might be looking at a record 😂

Raptor tows less and less payload= smaller boat! 😂😂😂😂
No, it's not worth 25,000 dollars more, unless you have money to burn. if I'm going to keep it, I wouldn't want a tubo.
I have a XLT 5.0 Supercharged with suspension and 35s, still less money than the Raptor.
msrp no opts good raptor loaded and dealer mark ups no or Rapor R

Give me the 5.0 over that pos in that flat brim monster drinking truck any day of the week. Better yet give me a Superduty.
No.

I own a raptor and I love it, but no, it's not worth it 😂
Raptor
In my opinion I would get a bed cap for the truck that's just me
Yep, that’s definitely just you. 😂
This is a no brainer.
Drive both of them off the lot at the same time and compare the value afterwards.
Raptor all day every day.
