My favorite song on the entire album, but I wish it was longer. Sets the tone and shows how amazing Kanye is creatively. The vocals and drums is everything!
VULTURES 1 is a masterpiece. It combines the flashy club vibes of Graduation with the postapocalyptic doom of latter Ye's rhetoric at his angriest. But angry to the point of post-angry. Post giving a damn. Post caring. Rock bottom reality. Have some fun, rap about sexy women, don't wait for permission. The production is immaculate. It is truly an MBDTF-tier effort. Not maximalist as MBDTF, not minimalist as Yeezus, but just the right amount of everything. It's like Leonardo da Vinci returning at 46 to repaint Graduation with all the insight and skills he has acquired since. With intertextual nods and winks to the best eras and sidekicks, even a beautiful feat. from his own daughter. It's just a tremendously exciting album to listen to, one that will go down as an absolute classic, and one that will be absolutely murdered by those who hate his so-called opinions. He just redeemed himself. This is what you get with freedom of speech. This is what you get with independence. A number one and a modern masterpiece.
