Also I can use Nas as a reference point because the KD and magic trilogies were produced by Hit Boi, and so yeah hes still making bangers and gave a nas a fresh new sound 20 years later, and KD3 is without a doubt better than vultures. KD3 is a perfectly produced and mixed album, Vultures is good and a lot of really good production, but its held back so hard by its mixing. And even apart from just producing, rap wise kanye is at an all time low, Nas on KD3 definitely out perform him rap wise, same with Jay Z on 4:44. And if you want to talk about producing exclusively, Madlib? Been around for longer than 20 years and is still a sampling genius, Pinata is a masterpiece, and Bandana is also still way better than kanyes last 4 albums. Those are people id say are over recent kanye, but theres producers that id say are on kanyes level even 20 years since their career started like; Mike Dean, Pharell, DJ Premier, etc. Again I loved this album, and Kanye still my favorite hip hop artist of all time, but theres people who were still good after long careers.
