When I was 21, an established man age 39 wanted to date me. He had a city job was single with no children making 85,000 this was in 1999. I had no kids etc. my dad hated him because he thought he was trying to take advantage of me. I’m married to a HVM today and he’s 1 year older than me. He had potential and was on the right track. My dad loved him. Today we’ve been married for 16 years with 3 kids, black couple in a six figure house hold. I agree with age gap but not if the man acts like you’re a child he can control and that’s what my dad looked out for. My dad helped me make the right choice.

@@jollygoodgordon5580 so glad my wife was raised by her parents and church which sent her out into the world respecting the title of "Wife" and that's she's so determined to live up to the responsibilities that the role entails.
That old quote is so true that it's easier to raise a child right than to fix an adult.
That is where we, as a society, need to put more focus. I swear, if Kevin doesn't start a channel aimed towards the next generation soon, I will. It has to be done because (oh dear God) they have no clue how badly they're messing it up.
Edit: I understand that this channel can be viewed by the younger generation. To me, it's very focused on the women currently looking and explaining what went wrong to those who are past their prime. I talk to my daughters, my nieces, and nephews and so on and most don't have a clue what they are doing. My daughters do because we are raising them to be "Super Wife" like their Mother but I want to expand that. Hopefully help them succeed and avoid the same mistakes myself and others have made (so they don't have to worry about struggling through the recoveries).

Ladies, if a man doesn't know how to wear a pair of pants like an adult and his pants are hanging half off their butt, this should be your first clue that that guy is going no place in life. Other simple clues would be do they have a steady job, are they going to school, can they speak professionally, what kind of friends to they hang out with, are they productive or always looking for short cuts and angles. You don't need to do a lot of deep thinking to see in a few minutes if a man is going to be a productive member of society and have the ability to take care of a family.

Fellow medical student here. I think the caller thought that the fact hes a medical student (and will soon be a doctor) means that women should swoop him up based on this. Like kevin said, its more important to work out HOW to sell yourself. This man needs to do this: workout, understand female nature, develop a high status social circle, work on a side hustle outside of medical school so that he can foster a lifestyle that balances his life as a Doctor and is appealing to women. I remember I had a bit of an ego thinking I had high value traits just because of the fact I was in medical school. The problem was that I let medical school lift my reputation as opposed to me lifting my own name BY THE PERSON I AM. Good conversation.

It’s funny how you don’t see young girls with broke men only rich guys but okay. You all think it’s love 😆.
I want to grow old with my husband and take care of our kids together. Not some men who is past his prime and still trying to be young and have something to prove. If he is 40 when I met him and he dies at 50 our kids will be ten. Meaning I’ll be 35 , also means I will be that same single mother you all love to talk so “lovely” about on here 🤔.
When I want to find someone else again then we it will be pain for me because “ being a single mom is a liability not an asset” Most of these men barely take care of themselves with right nutrition to make it to 60. So like I said no thank you. I see the longer haul and I would marry my age with potential over established any minute. You older men need to date woman your own age.

Dating and focusing on relationships when your in your growth period is the absolute worst thing you can do in life. It detracts from your trajectory and if the relationship goes wrong it can debilitate your ambition. Focus on yourself ,your social circle and values and you’ll find someone that fits your purpose
The desire to be in a relationship can become so strong that it can become toxic and it comes from societal pressure and conditioning.

Not true... You are designed to mate young. Historically people married young and lived for decades with one mate. The issue is "picking" the right mate. That's what made arrange marriages so successful for thousands of years. Parents looked for women who could build, came from good families, and could be a good resource for their prized sons. There was no accounting for sexual attraction. They knew after sex the wedding night everything would work itself out. But our American economy runs on sexuality so therefore solutions of the past are not considered profitable so therefore not promoted.

@@LordeGainz There is a reason Bar mitzvah exist.. it is a coming of age celebration it is a time when a boy transitions into a man. Marriage and reproduction is a part of manhood. The issues young men have today is not only are we not taught to be mature. We don't seek out maturity. There was a time boys wanted to become young men as soon as possible. But todays youth/ young men want to stay children as long as possible. They don't push themselves to mature. They don't push themselves to have careers. They don't push themselves to become good/husbands. They seek out excuses to avoid accountability and maturity as long as possible. Part of being a man is desire to be a man. Most want to stay children with excuses as long as possible. Up until the 20th century life expectancy was on average only up until your mid 20's hence the need for bar and bat mitzvah's. Life was short you had to grow up and build a family and procreate as soon as possible. But now that life expectancy is into the early to mid 70's (blackmen 55) we think we can stay children longer. Growing up, maturing is desire. If men take longer today to mature. It is because they do not desire to do it sooner. Because for thousands of years. We did not have a choice but to mature because you knew you would die soon, so you had no choice but to grow up and be about life. Life was real and you had no choice but to be a man. Now men are choosing not to be. Maturity is a choice, being a man is a choice.

This episode was very valuable. As a man I learned where I did wrong with regards to my ex. The operation inside home is her domain and I violated her feminine space. Granted I am accustomed to doing things for myself. But the home is her domain and I violated the unwritten masculine and feminine agreement. I see my error now and how she must have felt. I think one of the things we get wrong as men is not understanding women are just as territorial as us. The nest, the den is hers. Everything around that we can claim as ours but the nest is hers. Thanks KS for pointing this out. With this new found knowledge I am better equipped for my next relationship.

I know some people who’ve quit their day jobs to drive Uber full time, me personally I wouldn’t suggest that because Uber isn’t stable enough for me to do that, plus I’m not quitting my job because I have a great pension plan and investments installed through my job. But that’s besides the point, the point is, Uber drivers make good money just to drive. And they’ll pay for free tuition if you meet certain requirements so you can actually send your kids to school on Uber for free.
